This train has remained a biweekly for a really long time.....probably since it had started. Frequency has not been increased even after so many years. Instead the railways has changed the originating station from Howrah to Santragachi.....really cant understand the reason for the same

Sir, that is what I donot understand...as MAS is a terminal station, the loco which brings in the train, cannot further take it without reversing back....which will not be possible..so it has to be a new loco attached at the other end of train which takes it further....

No seen many a time at MAS the same loco will be reversed all platforms have that options of interlinking at near end,in such cases the train will not be pulled till the buffer end,they stop it bit before and loco after detached from rake goes a bit ahead and switches over adjacent track thru interlinking point and goes till end and comes back to attach to the rake again to resume onward journey...
