i have travelled in all shatabdi's originating from ndls except ldh / moga shatabdi. so as per dinner and cleanliness is concerned ajmer shatabdi and chandigarh shatabdi are top contendor... bhopal shatabdis speed is awesome and equally awesome is the lunch they serve but the dinner was average..2 asr , lko , ddn , kgm , and 2 klk shatabdi also are good maintained nice and clean. but food i feel is of same quality..

In both directions this is most preferred train. the only train to reach NDLS from Bhopal before 12001 is Punjab Mail but one has to catch it at 9:30 am. and the same Punjab Mail is the first train before Bhopal Shatabdi from NDLS to Bhopal but it reaches only around 5 pm. so who wants to waste his time travelling for long hours.

EC and 1A in Shatabdi are treated as in same category by IR. The food is also same of EC and 1A thats why almost same fare. Comfort in 1A is more, thats why they charge slightly more. Similar in case of 3A and CC.
