Phase 1: PUNE-DD-BGVN Electrification which is already Double Line.

Bhigwan-Mohol Doubling required which will be done first and later electrification. Same for Hotgi-Gulbarga, doubling first and then electrification. SUR Division will start doubling now, yesterday there was news in Solapur newspapers in Marathi.

SUR PF-1 extension work also going on to accommodate 24 coach trains.

Daund ELS is already under construction as informed by our Daund Admin. And LNL-PUNE-DD EMU will start so less pressure of daily passengers on M/E/SF trains.

Why not do electrification for existing first as its being in SWR sectors,parallely do doubling and electrification.

Doubling and Electrification was to start parallely, but SUR Division has said that the tenders for electrification did not get passed. Hence doubling will be started first.

Yes something is better than nothing. Started after delay of nearly 5 years after funding by Asian Development Bank.

Pune-Daund-Bhigwan is already Double Line. Electrification will start today.

Doubling of Bhigwan-Mohol and Solapur-Wadi also has begun.

If it hapens .. Trains wil Rockkk to KYN FRM SUR within 7 Hrs.......

The tracks will also be upgraded upto 140 kmph. So should see trains blasting here.

Only Shat or Raj or Dur can hit tat 130mps if its upgraded til 140kph!! normal express/mail ka haalat nei badlega!!

Haan woh to main jaanta hu, 110 ka limit jo hai. Atleast PUNE-SC-PUNE Shatabdi ko benefit hoga.

Rake ka hisaab shayad 120-130 hoga!!! ICF naa!! itna pata nei, tum bata do, kitna ka hain SC - PUNE ka!!

Atleast trains wont get delayed.. And train wil reach earlier . . Tracks mit support 140. . But trains wil atleast run @ 110. .

Problem of dacoity on trains will also lessen, which are frequent on this route. Dacoities happen on trains which are waiting to let other train pass / cross / overtake.

Reaching on time or getting delayed lies in the hands of the control section & the hands of LP. even if the track mps has 90, there should b good clearance. tat can help the train running on time to reach station on time. if there is a signal interference, even a mighty Shat can't do anything.

Manmad - Daund electrification is already under progress. OHE poles have been erected upto Daund and wires upto Akolner as informed by our Daund admin. Manmad-Daund will be electrified before Pune-Daund.
