Pf @ YNK for this train is actually not fixed both ways. Some times its 1 and some times 2.
Usually at YNK for all trains PF #2 is used. PF #1 is used if there is a crossing or any repair work on PF #2. I am sure that there would be a crossing for this train if it arrives on time...

Nope. It arrived 39 minutes late. It was on time but was halted twice for crossings for 15 minutes each at TDV & RNN.

This train travels for as long as 2800 kms without a pantry car...I know that are a lot of such trains plying on IR network....This is little unjustified. I will come to know tomorrow on how the travel experience is....

if i book tickets upto madurai ......then am i allowed to travel upto tuticorin

no you cannot travel upto TN with a ticket for MDU
then how can i travel......the train terminates @ tn....bt bokings upto madurai only.....

then the sleeper coaches goes empty upto tn???
you may ask for an extension in train... however in such circumstance you will have to pay full fare from MDU to TN ,without the benefit of telescopic fare
boss u should have booked tkt upto tn but resevation upto mdu, then u can ask tte he would have helped u!, but in mdu u got to take genral tkt first , u ask tte in sl if empty he may give u by charging mim fine 30+ something, if no avl u can go in gen.
ya may be....nearly 60-70% it goes empty...
he is tkt less traveller from mdu! he need to take gen tkt first, then he can ask tte for berth in sl other wise with out tkt travelling tte may fine him heavyly

becaz, in some stations they wont give tkts frm some othr station to other stn.

The train started running from Dwarka and use to terminate at Madurai instead of Tuticorin due to Pit line construction, Platform constraints and infrastructure related issues at Tuticorin Railway station.
