No question of WAP-5 since AJNI has only WAP-7. Maybe loco availablity issues or links are occupied. BTW Sewagram, Pune GR and Pune SF Exp have AJNI WAP-7.

Yes, anyways, NGP division can make a AJNI WAP-7 available for this train. If this loco can haul NGP-Amravati Passenger and AJNI-Amravati Intercity, it can easily be made available for Vidarbha.

Sampoorna Kranti Express, Mumbai Jaipur Superfast, Tamil Nadu Express,Golden Temple Mail, Swaraj Express, Poorva Express, Kerela Express, Gitanjali Express, Jneswari Express, Gujarat Mail, Karnavati Express, Karnataka Express and All Others
And Trains Like Bandra Dehradun Express, Chattisgarh Express, Paschim Express(Althoush It Should not be Included in this List),Sewagram Express Etc Like trains are Given High Profile Locos
Its Because the Have Many Halts and Aggressive Schedule Which Will Affect Their Running, So they are Given WAP 7 For Better Performance.

Wait for AJNI to get more WAP7 locos.

Sir Loco really does not matter in terms of whether a train is important or not as even prestigious trains like DBRT, RJPB and BBS Rajdhani also run with WAP4.

and mainly CR is waiting for it's conversion to AC current ..... when the whole route will b switchd over AC currrect, then all the trains can get WAPPIEZZ ..... :)

BSL Wap 4 is appropriate for this train. As far as sewagram is considered its given ajni wap 7 because its having the highest rakes so to cover the time and to carry more rakes at the good speed ajni wap7 is given to sewagram otherwise this train will not be able to cover the time and distance.

vidarbha and sewagram both have same no.of coaches .

i hv recently come top know that maxm as well as avg speed of wap 4 is greater than that of wap 7...

WAP4 has achieved top speed of 171 and WAP7 has achieved top speed of 180

Sewagram is having more coaches than vidharbha exp. some coaches are attached at wardha station So to cover the time and pull more coaches at constant speed ajni wap 7 is attached to this train

But prestigous trains like Kalka Mail, AP Exp, Goa Exp, Paschim Exp, KSK and Rajdhanis and Durontos,etc.. does get WAP7 locos ?

Why, whats wrong with a WAP-4??

i know that 6 coaches are attached at wardha then it becomes 24 coacher and vidarbha is 24 coacher so why not p7 to vidarbha??

Sevagram gets a a WAP-7 due to more number of stoppages and tight schedule whereas vidarbha has less number of stoppages.WAP-7 acceleration is required for sevagram.Also the vidarbha is doing good so no need for wap-5/7.

Tata wat i said its having the more stoppages almost at every st so to acclerate in.between and ti cover the distance.within time wap 7 is given to vidharbha
