Not necessarily the station board has to be in frame always. Long Shots are most preferable. Anyways, you can change this if you feel like. :-)

Yes. The term "SB" is actually a misnomer. A plain yellow board shall serve no purpose to any commuter. Rather a scenic view of the entire/part of the station complex is way preferable. If the Station Board is also included in the picture, then it becomes a plus.
