Train No. 06513 Bangalore - Patna Special Train will depart Bangalore at 10 10 hrs on 21st, 28th May and 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th June, 2013 (Tuesdays) and arrive Patna at 09 50 hrs on Thursdays.

The last service is on May 27 not June 27 ..please make the correction. Its a One trip special on both sides.
Its a weekly Special, and by mistake its mentioned as May 25/May 27 in PRs/News, whereas actually it should be June 25/June 27, as per dep from SBC and PNBE on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This train is not a SCR train. Just because the train passes through SCR region they have given a press release... train nos starting with 65 are SWR bangalore division trains.

Bangalore City – Patna Weekly Express Special (06513 ) will leave Bangalore City at 10.10 am on Tuesdays and arrive at Patna at 9.50 am on Thursdays. Patna-Bangalore City Weekly Express Special (06514) will leave Patna at 8.20 pm on Thursdays and arrive at Bangalore City at 9 pm, on Saturdays.

Now 06514 PNBE-SBC special is permanent as a weekly train has been announced in the railway budget 2013-14 between patna & Bangalore via Cheoki .
Lekin abhi time lagega qk abhi patliputra junction ko khulney me time hai jab ban jaiga to us station se pehli train yahi hogi
why it has to be wait untill the inauguration of "Pataliputra" station .This will be announced as special train for the upcoming summer upto Patna then they will make it permanent when Pataliputr was ready untill then it will run as a special itself..............

May be chances r there b'coz today the practice is like this....First run it as a special for 2 to 3 months and then extend it for another 3 to 4 months then railways will anoounce it regular run .........Most of the trains got regularised in this fashion.......

Reached Bangalore at 6 this morning instead of last night at 9 PM. Was doing around 6 and 1/4 hours late at Nagpur, 4.5 hours late until Vijaywada outer, and it left BZA 6 hours late. By the time it left Chennai, it was already 11 PM. Maintained the timing from there alright.
Was hauled by BZA WAG-7 from Itarsi, and a red WAG-5 from MAS.

Can expect these sort of delays with specials..Thanks for the info provided.
Forgot to add, no food, water (drinking or in toilets), pantry available in this train. 'Catering Available' is invalid. Plus since it runs late habitually, it has very short stoppages, about 2/5 minutes irrespective of whatever has been granted officially. For ex, it stopped for only 10 minutes at nagpur and only 15 minutes at Vijaywada (BZA). Compartments' water tanks were empty before Nagpur (where I boarded) and remained empty until BZA.
So be very very careful when taking this train.

Oh thats pretty bad to notice..Yes unless its very much urgent & is must,have to avoid this specials especially long routes..
