The rare to capture train, SaiNagar Shirdi - Mysore Weekly Express which passes Bangalore Cantonment around 3 AM in the morning gives me a shocking surprise.
I was completely unaware that this train was running 3 hours late and as usual was expecting the regular ones.
From no where came these WDG4 twins along with a dead KJM WDM3A Baldie rushing towards Bangalore Cantonment.

MYS SNSI Express taking a turn towards Penukunda and climbing down the slope...

Some one who might have mistaken the MYS-SNSI express to a passenger wanted to get down at SMWA and pulled the chain just about when the train was blasting past the station. The train came to a screeching halt in a very short distance that the last SLR coach of the train had still not crossed the platform. It took them more than 30 minutes of time to figure out the solution to make the train running again. There was some gas leak happening under S5 coach and they were trying to rectify S6. After so much of tussle and bustle, discussions over the radio, atlast a man came and set the things in a minute...the man you see in the pictures is not the guy. He is the LP who tried his best but couldn't help. There was a liver under the coach which had to be turned off.

16209/10 is a bi weekly(Tu, Th) express. One rake leaves MYS on Tue. Another leaving in Thu arrives back on Tue. Board on the train also doesn't display it./NEXT/768138/0/p5260047.jpg
