From SBC till BGM it wont be much crowded in SL but from BGM it will be jam packed till ADI. Travelled from SBC to ADI in SL once.

Hello, I am looking to book ticket in Tatkal Quota in Train 16210 - Ajmer Express From PUNE to AHMEDABAD for Date 17-05-13. Train will depart from Mysore at 16th(tatkal opens at 15).
But as it shows in attached image, Tatkal for 17th and also for further dates, it shows no room, where it should show AVAILABLE. I am not able to understand this. Plz Help.
Tatkal bookings is not possible for Pune-Ahmedabad in this train...
Pune may not have quota. try from miraj to ahmedabad and later change boarding point at counter.
Why? I am not aware of any rule like this. Plz give some more details...

For most of the long distance trains Tatkal bookings are not allowed for passengers of intermediate to preserve the quota for passengers of starting stations, "Regret" Status means bookings are not allowed

chances of getting cnf for such intermediate station is high in non tatkal category.
Is there no tatkal quota in Mysore-Ajmer Express?? Because its not showing it while I am trying to book a tatkal ticket online.

For which leg of journey you are trying or tatkal sir?
Why is it not permitted? ? ? ?
That is a Zonal level decision to give benefit for end to end passengers...

mysore ajmer is a pretty high demand train. also quite punctual. take ur pick.
MYS-Ajmer takes a shorter route while YPR-Ajmer takes a slightly longer route.
That is the only possible difference that I can point out. Both are fairly punctual.
