Please will anyone clarify : Why does 13025 run from HWH-BRKA using a diesel traction inspite of having travelling through the 1st electrified route (HWH-DHN)?(Even DHN-CRP-BRKA is electrified, I mean why waste precious Diesel when an electric loco would provide the same, if not better service! Same thing with Ranchi-Dumka intercity, an electric tration can easily work upto JSME, but no a BKSC WDM-3A hauls its straight from RNC to Dumka! What I want to ask is:- Is changing from diesel-electric really that difficult or expensive (Because I have seen Mughalsarai do it seamlessly all day)? It Was A Hectic Journey. I'm Glad I m Still Fit N' Fine..... Had To Book This Train As Shipra Was Heavily Waitlisted. Couldnt Fly As I Had Lot Of Luggages With Me [ Way More Than 15 Kgs]. Hence, Initially Had To Board Chartered Volvo From Indore At 01:30 Hrs..... Reached Bhopal Raushanpura Around 04:45 Hrs.... Chartered Privileged Us With A Complimentary Station Drop In Their Own Tata Winger. Reached Bhopal Junction By 04:55 Hrs Food Plaza Wasnt Open At That Time. Also There Was No Place Where I Could Refreshed Myself. Didnt Witness Any Toilet As Well.... Even The Platform Was "Under Construction" [ I ll Provide The Picture Later. There Was No Announcement Of Bhopal -Howrah Express At All.... Out Of Nowhere I Saw The Train Coming To Platform No 5..... I Wonder The Situation Had The Allotment... Read more...
Been To Some Other Platform. Train Departed 35 Mins Late i.e 08:10 Hrs.... Then Came The Biggest Shock. I Booked My Lunch & Dinner Through www.travelkhana.com Which Was "Confirmed" By The Previous Evening. After The Train Crossed Vidisha I Got A Text [ Not Even A Courtesy Call] That Says "Your Order Has Been Cancelled".... While Following Up, Travelkhana Associates Were "Smart" Enough To Offer Me A VEG THALI To Compensate My Non-Veg Order [ Wat Ridiculous Attitude ]. Eventually I Had To Manage With A Crap Veg Thali At Saugor. Paid 80 Bucks For The Same With ZERO Value For Money...... THANK YOU MADHYA PRADESH FOR TEACHING ME A NEW DEFINITION OF "PROFESSIONALISM" Didnt Get Anything For Dinner. Had To Manage With 4 Pcs Of Samosa & Cakes I Purchased At Bhopal. Then, The Train Was Made To Stop For 3 Hours [ Dont Know Why] At Renukut..... Around 21:00 Hrs, I Decided To Hit The Bed... Woke Up Around 06:00 Hrs Next Morning And Learnt That We Are Approaching Barkakana Junction With Only 1 Hr Delay [ Donno Where They Covered Up 2 Hrs]. Ordered My Lunch From Travelkhana From Asansol [ This Time I Got Some Real Food]. Reached Dhanbad 10 Mins Before Schedule....... And Finally Reached Howrah 15 Mins Behind Schedule All Amongst The Odds, I Must Appreciate The Onboard House Keeping Staffs. They Left No Stone Unturned To Ensure The Cleanliness & Hygiene Inside The Compartment Cleanliness: 09 /10 Speed : 07/10 Punctuality : 08/10 Service : 00/10
