Its merely an end of pfs. probably 1st 3 coaches would stops there for 24 coach train. but it is very important to have a wider pfs there at 1st 5 coaches as there is a possibility of having ur coaches in those positions. crowd wud be there in massive numbers...

dont worry sathish we from delta towns have two major junctions MV and TJ which will be a great facilitized junction in future,in MV still we dont have coach position display system,tails on PF's so we would get in future....

Totally 2 crores allocated for the beautification of thanjavur junction pfs and station building. if that is utilized well tj will also get basic amenties like coach positioning system, proper roofing, sanitation facility, stabilization line, etc.
As krish bro told mv also should get cps for 1,2 pfs, tails flooring, roofing on pfs.
hope for the best in all 2 stations...

Also in tj, railway land was occupied by some people near goods platforms. If they clear that place they can build 2 stabilizing line/pit line...
authorities should take necessary actions bro...

same situation in MV also bro,if you travel in day time kindly note the north end of the first platform of MV,the train will turn from point to main line,there is huge land available in MV next to the river bridge which was worked as Loco shed for MV in MG era,now it is not utilized by railways but the land is still in the hands of railway board,like TPJ we can have Diesel loco shed at MV the place is more than enough to handle locos if any problem occurs we no need to wait for loco to come from TPJ or VM,we can make it by utilizing MV loco shed,watch the place that i have said when you travel in day time which is after the north end of first platform of MV....

that much space is not needed for a loco bro. 100 metre track is more than enough. but one day all facilities we had in mg era will be reverted back bro. v have to wait till that.

But aadarsh and all for name sake bro... normally it gets all amenties once more trains are on track.

still now i have never seen work to improve any station as Adarsh...

i dono about their plan,but they announced MV,KMU,NCR are adarsh stations but still we need to get lot of passenger amenities....

alu also announced as adharsh.
but u cannot even get a coffee by staying inside the coach in kmu, alu, ncr... no irctc stall too...

only when more trains gets introduced they will develop the station infrastructure....similarly RMM was announced as Adarsh station two years back and now they started work as Model station with an estimate of 10.81 crore...

yes we lacks a lot of amenities SR should consider the problems faced by Passengers while travelling....

But now a days no train has 5 min stop at any of the station except ers tea garden. but tj, kmu, mv badly needs 5 min stoppage time as 2 min is not enough 2 board trains.

whom said trains stopping at MV till 5 mins,it's silly you are asking like a kid which i am bigger than you,kindly avoid these silly things,for that you have to ask ur railway standing committee chairman,DRM TPJ, GM,SR....MV is one of the major junction of TPJ division nobody can underestimate MV than other towns....while using blogs be ware of what you are posting is fully responsible you only....

pamani express,karaikal bangalore,mannai stops 5mins. .former mp manishankar iyer ala mv jn peru vangunuchu. .

pamani exp,karaikkal-SBC are halting more than 10 minutes due to Traffic in MV-TVR line when pamani enters MV 56514 just departs from MV and till peralam pamani exp trails 56514,for that only it has 10 min stops,innouru thadavai un ooru perusu en perusunu post panrathu nallathu illa,it's an strict warning,dont pose me to take strict actions....

leave it,lets stick to the topic,we are here to discuss our knowledge to improve our delta region to be upgraded with sufficient facilities in railways,not to compare with each other,example: Villupuram Jn,is not big as Tiruchi but all trains are halting 10 mins at Vilupuram,can we compare these towns??? can we say Villupuram is not a big junction??? no,just like that mayiladuthurai Jn in delta region,i like all regions of delta.....

These are not named as official name...But they are announced by this name in each and every station...

SR should take initiative of naming their trains. Writing to SR or via pgportal can help in this regards.
Recently, SCR started to name their trains.
