It is useless to get reserved in this train. You need to fight for your reserved seat/berth unless you board the train from the starting point. Sleeper coaches are also packed with unreserved people as the UR compartment gets over crowded. Only the 3A coach is spared and meant strictly for reserved passengers.

Cutting through 2 trains, Pune[PUNE] WDM3A 18621 moves through the loopline at Puntamba Jn. to reverse and get coupled to the 51034 Sainagar Shirdi[SNSI]-Mumbai CST[CSTM] Fast Passenger on the left. I wondered why this loco was reversing through the loop, and after i clicked this pic, i turned around to see the mainline was "All Clear=Green" for the approaching SWR King - KK express, which murdered Puntamba at 100kmph flat. On the right was my "Badluck ka Baadshah" for that day, the train in which i was traveling, 22601 Chennai Central[MAS]-Sainagar Shirdi[SNSI], lead by Tondiarpet[TNP] WDM3A 17968. We were running late by more than 6hrs.
