how its general fare from hwh to rph increased to 40 from 31,.
as per rule per km n second class ordinary there should be 2paisa/km increaded.
for for 219 km there should be increase of 219*2=438 paisa max 5 rs.
then it should haven at 36 rs.
but how it is 40 rs?

The fare would be rounded off to next higher multiple of 5. So 36 becomes 40.

it is one of finest fast passenger service in india and very popular .still no train have relpace its popluarity.
average speed 43km/hr realy good.but generaly late 10 to 15min.
Reach Liluah(5km from Howrah) at right time always 9.50am and then it either wait to passe Down NDLS Howrah Rajdhani express or Howrah Bound Local trains.
just liuah to Howrah 5km it takes arround 30min ,where it need to takes 20min as slack time to reach Howrah on right time.
