I was curious about Jabalpur station. I used to live in Jabalpur long time back. How many platforms are there? Are there two entrance/exits. Those days there was only one exit/entrance towards Sadar/Hotel Kalchuri side and it led to Platform 1. On one side of Platform 1 was the siding where the jabalpur slip coaches of Bilaspur_Indore were parked. And then the Narrow guage platform was also near the extreme end of Platform 1.

How does the avg. speed of a passenger train be as high as 57 kms/hr?
If a train can cover 24 Km in Just 12 minutes, it can run on that avg!!!!
PS: If ever it run on time, its cool & fast, but hardly it does
The AVG Speed here means--
Total Distance
Travel Time-Stoppage @ Stations
That definitely causes such imperfection in Avg Speed Issue!!!

Kindly dont follow Avg here as to be Distance Travelled divided by total running time!!
