but the rake is short only of 18 coaches do bankers are required for short rakes?

They are just bankers are attached between Karjat - Lonavala section only after they will be detached...Same is done for many trains in this route.
let it b even 10 coaches too, Bankers are must. the gradient in this section is very steep.

I think it is some error, because the status shown is REGRET/CKWL1 for all future days.
Most certainly a bug. Do not worry, go ahead with your CK booking on the CK opening days. IRCTC will process your requests.
This means, they are not showing availability for journeys more than one days, or it is some bug..

Already the UP line at the accident spot restored at noon itself, so there wont be any problem en-route may be delayed in that section.
