Increase the frequency of 16855/16856 Mangalore -Puducherry weekly Express into Tri weekly
let's see railway budget on 26th tuesday
it'll become true for sure in this budget..
Timings need to be changed. Stops everywhere in between Mangalore and Kanhangad as the slow Mangalore Kannur Passenger will be ahead of it.
Recently it was told by Mr. Narayana samy , Union Minister that the frequency of this train will be increased from weekly to Tri - weekly from next budget.Instead of running this train in the current route, it may be diverted via Kaveri delta region for the benefit of those area passengers also to run via Cuddalore-Chidambaram-Myladuthurai-Kumbakonam Trichy as there is no direct train to Mangalore from this area.By way of doing so, too much of Loco reversal may be avoided. Apart from that, it should be extended to Goa, so that a direct link between Goa & Pondy will be made and it will increase tourism for not only to Puducherry but also for Goa as it is passing through part of Konkan area which is very popular for trekking due to its tunnels & mountains and thirdly for Kaveri delta region due to well known...

It's on the rake of train #16043, the 16:05 Tuesday only "Weekly Express" to Mangalore Central, which it would work to Villupuram Jn, where the train reversed, for an Ernakulam WDM3A to go forward.

HA Removed, 6 sleeper Removed, 1 2A removed. Decision welcome because of train running with low patronage.
The reason may be not because of poor patronage but because of icrease in frequency of MAS-MAQ SF Exp (12685) from six days to daily as announced in the railway budget. This means the current trin will be out of RSA with 12685 so CC changed according to new RSA or patronage.

Can anybody predict the new timing of Puducherry-Mangalore-Puducherry express from August 17/28, 2012? As it cannot run on the same time as the existing with Chennai express, some deviated timing will be there
