It is a long distance passenger train, that too night hours hence no idea please.

Passenger trains between cities normally are ON time. Sometimes, even Expresses are delayed to allow Passenger trains to go through, if the Passenger is on time, and the Express is late, and the section controller feels that delaying the passenger will NOT enable the Express to make up time. Passengers run on a tight schedule, while Express trains have in-built slack in their running time, hence this fine tuning of running of passenger trains. Plus, passenger trains are normally used to connect people from remote places to other remote areas/cities so they are given preference.
Due to inbuilt slack, express trains are delayed, but can make up by increasing speed upto their MPS...

Thank you Mr. Murali, you said rightly. But my personal experience is defers. I use to travel in a passenger train for 50 km frequently. Even the passenger is on time, it use to wait for 20 mints to allow late running express train. Invariably it happens daily, some time for two express trains also.Just this is for your kind information only.

Sleeper is available on this train. Go to official Indian Railways Passenger Reservation Enquiry site. Be patient, it loads very slowly.
