RF at LRJ
Pic1-Station Board LRJ, awesome weather.
Pic2- GZB WAP5, I think this loco is for ASR-DDN Lahori exp.
Pic3-Another view of LRJ, train on left side 19019 BDTS-DDN exp, on right 15034 RMR-HW exp.
Pic4- Another view of LRJ, look at the change in weather Pic4 was taken at 2:00 PM and Pic1 was at 2:13 PM.
Note: Pic1 and Pic3 are presented without any editing.
Pic-3 is awesome while other snaps are also good. Any idea about the electrification status between Laksar Jn and Dehradun? I feel that electric locos should now travel upto Haridwar Jn for trains like Kumbh Express :-)
Fantabulous Exhibition of photography
Electrification in LRJ-HW section is completed and in HW-DDN section it is under progress. Poles have been situated in most of the area.
They might be waiting for CRS inspection or the whole route to be get electrified. Now Elocos go only till LRJ.
I'm waiting for the day when they surprise us suddenly by running kumbha exp E to E with Eloco. :D
update name in regional language (urdu) which is prominently spoken in hardwar-meerut-delhi region basic region that is connected to mumbai by this train.
ممبئ باندره ٹرمنس - دہرہ دون ایکسپریس
This train regional name will remain in Marathi.
According to your words returning train can be named in urdu but Urdu is too much less used in Uttar Pradesh so Marathi will be used as regional language for this train.
Himachal,Hariyana,UP,Bihar,Jharkhand,Rajasthan, MP,Chhattisgarh,Uttarakhand and Delhi are Hindi language states.
"Urdu is too much less used in Uttar Pradesh"
My freind, Urdu is not less used in U.P balki we have largest Urdu speaking people in U.P only along with Delhi
yes.....but actualy its less then Hindi naa...........
in UP we have hardly 30% peoples speaking Urdu so regional language of Uttar Pradesh should be consider as Hindi. yes if both source and destinations are in Hindi language states then we can make name in urdu by considering him secondary language.
Hindi and Marathi use the same script so a hindi reader can easily read marathi & vice versa.
But I am not saying that name should not be written in marathi nor I am opposing your views. I am just giving my views. And on more thing in Delhi, western u.p. and Hardwar region of Uttarakhand people normally speaks that language which is neither totally Hindi nor totally Urdu but a mixture of both. And you can give regional name in marathi if you want I am not opposing you.
Script might be same, but few words have different pronunciation. Bandra in English is Vaandre in Marathi.
Sir for 19020 you have written mumbai bandra terminus dehradun express but that is dehradun mumbai bandra terminus express... correct it as دہرہ دون - ممبئی باندره ٹرمنس ایکسپریس
