What experiences has taught me is to never rely on IRCTC for CK.

Not offline,offsite its a reservation counter located not in a railway station. It might be somewhere in Panchayat offices, Collectorate etc.

Go there with a xerox copy of your ID proof and fill the reservation form and give it to the counter.They will give you the ticket if available.
I dont know regarding BZA, but at some places people queue up from early morning say 4 am for the ticket..So make sure you reach well before time.
Just enquire about the rush there.

yes PRS is name of the reservation counter at a Railway station.It stands for Passenger Reservation System.

I'm planning to go to Kolkata from SC in 12704 in 2AC. It is showing WL22 now. Should I go for the CK quota or will WL 23/24 will get confirmed?? need help!!!

Difficult tatkal is the way out...You can book it and hold,also slim chances of getting RAC..
go Tatkal. if want book it , after have tatkal ticket , cancel w/l .
Else if its fine go for East coast,2AC for 24-4 is WL#5 good chances of getting RAC..
Sir don't want to go in East Coast Exp. 30 long hrs will be very difficult 4 us :(
