GR's frequency cant be increased as it shares TT with Dibrugarh Raj but Poorabiya's frequency can be increased and Vaishali cant be extended.......

Agar Bansal Sahab aapke kareebi hain toh meri taraf se bhi Patna-Bangalore/New Delhi/Mumbai ke liye new trains ki sifaarish kijiyega....

Vaishali kyun nhi extend ho sakti hai............................. RJPB garib rath jab bhagalpur tak extend ho sakti hai to vaishali 3 stoppage aagey saharsa jn. kyun nhi............lichchavi ko sitamarhi tak extend kar sakte hain but vaishali ko kyun nhi??????????????????agar vaishali samastipur tak hi chal rahi hoti to sale ECR wale usko second me palak jhapakte hi darbhanga tak extend kar dete. But yahan to baat saharsa ki hai jisko sirf janseva or jansadharan se hi 2nd grade ki train milti hai. feeling very bad.

Vaishali is the pride of ECR Sonpur Divison and runs jam packed throughout the year...cant be extended to either Saharsa or Bhagalpur...

why to extend Vaishaali if frequency of Poorabiya Exp can be increased??
what will be the "TT" of Vaishaali after extension to SHC??

i don't think train extend karne se pride wali koi baat hai. Baat agar railway k fayde ko dekhte hue karein to bahut achcha option hai. koi Rajdhani ya shatabdi ko extend karne wali baat nhi hai. Train chalayi jati hai passengers ko dekhte hue sath hi sath railway ka profit bhi dekha jata hai. profit k point of view se good option hai. or fir bar bar ek weekly train ka extra load bhi to nhi padega. Passengers ki suvidhaon ka khayal rakhte hue ECr sonpur division ko apna EGO chhod dena chahiye.

For 12553 TT from shc will be 7:30 am. for 12554 TT will be 7:30pm

If u want extension of Vaishali to SHC and some long distance new trains from SHC then wait for Lalu jee to become Rail Minister again.He has given many things to Koshi in terms of Railways.....

Vaishali runs full throughout the year and moreover tampering with this trains TT would not be a good idea.. Better a new train should be introduced..

I remember,a new train between SHC-NDLS via BJU,PNBE,ALD,CNB was announced by Lalu jee in his last Rail Budget but all in vain after Didi came..

As I remember,Rajya Rani for Patna and electric loco workshop at Madhepura was also announced by Lalu jee but Didi started only Rajyarani,no news of workshop....

As we know that this train between Saharsa & Amritsar was India's First GR Train. Have a look at this old news item for nostalgia: click here ... :-)

I think that now this train's livery has also changed from Dark Maroon to Yellow & Green. Here is an old video by Mr. Vivian Boye of this train entering into Barauni Jn ... :-)

PS: It's strange to see that this train does not use a GZB WAP-5 or TKD WAP-7 between NDLS & ASR. It's also interesting to know that this train's route was changed from the Original MB-SRE-UMB Route to MB-NDLS-UMB Route for improving it's dipping patronage in those days. I wish that it was possible for some Calcutta - Amritsar Trains also ;-D

India's First GR Train was painted in this old dark maroon style color & the other GR Trains which were launched were painted in Green & Yellow IR Medical Train Style Color .... ;-)

Earlier only two AC 3T sleeper and three AC chair cars were painted with this livery,rest train had normal Garib Rath colour but now all the coaches have usual Garib Rath colour,no maroon colour coaches now...

May be extra rakes of this train itself as no other Garib Rath arrives/departs from Amritsar so no RSA.

There are three rakes..the one which comes on Monday goes on Wednesday...Tuesday one goes back on Saturday & the friday rake goes on Sunday....from Amritsar..

Because it has a very brief halt at NDLS. I've seen it depart in some 7-8 minutes while it was late.
