On 27 July 15 after Satragachi Aggressively running WAP 7 Pantograph was broken and Engine became dead. @ dasnagar station. Waited for 2 hours for service engineers from Satragachi shed to arrive and ALCO from Howrah station to tow dead WAP 7.
Became real news with ETV BANGLA . ABP ANANDA . AND 24 GHONT arriving at sscene.
which has thrown Bombay Line traffic into dead halt.

Kerala exp is not hauled by a single loco for its entire route. It gets loco change twice, I reckon
3 Ph locos hv added advantage over single Ph locos dat they also feed extra generated power back while they come across lower gradient section. Power regeneration or power feedback is surely a big advantage. Dats why 3 Ph locos should be taken more into practice
Only speed performance should not be the criteria. Technical attributes should be taken into account.

because of its RSA train Jagannath Express running late by Puri that's why train start late by Hwh and reach late in CSTM and again reschedule done by CSTM because of Rake shortage.

1)Geetanjali Express with AJNI WAP-7 and LGD WAP-7

4)Puri-Ahmedabad SF with BIA WAP-7
5)Puri Shirdi Puri Express with TKD WAP-7 and BIA WAP-7
6)12406 Gondwana Express with TKD WAP-7
7)12655/56 Navjeevan SF with LGD and RPM WAP-7
when you catch the Puri Adi express with Bia P-7 and Puri snsi with Bia p-7 its cant believable because Secr zone never permit Bia P-7 to go to CR or SER Bia p-7 only remains to home zone and it takes round and duty upto BSP / NGP not after that how you can track the same on BSL ?
Sometimes it goes to NDLS as well.
No not Bia its TKD which goes to NDLS rarely Bia goes upto KTE only.
Few weeks back it went with hirakund you can check hirakund's forum as well
only one with Bia p-7 which is a Offlink because of non availability of its regular link and no other P-4 which haul the train while this 30202 is used by Korba Raipur Passenger as its regular link some times TKD P-7 may be the loco provided by SECR on Raipur station which is a HUGE OFFLINK on next day with return journey it back to Bia shed. This is amazing Bia p-7 gone to Ahmedabad and returned back to its shed a rarest incident. :D

Travelling to HWH. I will try to upload some good shots if I get some.
1. Arrived BADNERA 40 Min before Adding some more pics.
2. Trip ended with Dead WAP 7 and 2 hour delay.
Conclusion: Trip was good. Despite the power of WAP 7. which was awesome Train was made to wait for its schedule time. Some time delaying the train in outer's.
FINAL: WAP 7 only when TT is made more aggressive
I know Howrah-Mumbai CST Duronto is SER Train aur mera Hometown bhi TATANAGAR hai Jo (SER) mai aata hai :)

LGD WAP-7 nhi ban sakta regular link kyuki Gitanjali ECoR based train hai Management SER Ka hoga Aur loco SCR Based Lallaguda(LGD) ka hai and Gitanjali Ka Regular link banega toh HWH WAP-7 in Future :)

The train is running superb.......
The Service of Geetanjali Express will be upgraded now. Please see the reply of the attached Grievance relating to 12859/12860 Geetanjali Express which has RSA with Sri Jagannath Exp and Puri Coaching Shed maintain the rake of both of these train. The Reply is from Mechanical Department of ECOR Rail Sadan,South Block 3rd Floor Mancheswar Bhubaneswar 751017. Mention also made here that the 2nd Part of this Grievance(Point No:2) regarding WAP-7 in SER has already been posted in /blog/post/1536913.
As these are separate issues and pertaining to two different Zones so two separate blogs are made and this blog only discuss about the GEETANJALI ISSUE.

Really impressive. This is the 2nd Day it gets WAP-7 and now from HWH. First on the Historic Day of AC Conversion in CR(AJNI WAP-7) from CSTM.

A blog with the Pictures of 12860 Geetanjali of yesterday is required with WAP-7 LGD 30237. But as yet no such blogs found. I think then it would be much better for all of us.
