Yes, in rail budget 2008-09 during UPA-I , Azamgarh-Mumbai (Weekly) Express was announced by the ten MR. This appeared on PIB website on 30.06.2008 and same is reproduced below. Thia train may be introduced urgently.

a Glance-2008 are as under:
Encouraged by the public response over the past few years all the user-friendly features of Trains at a Glance viz. how to read a table, route map, station index, trains between important stations, station code index, Train number index, Train name index, has been retained.
Colour coding scheme for trains: (a) Pink for Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express, Jan Shatabdi Express and Garib Rath Express (b) Yellow for other superfast trains (d) blue/white for other mail/Express trains.
Special supplement on tourism covering important tourism cites of the nation.
Commercial information of passenger use and interest viz. advance reservation period, reservation through internet, refund rules, rail travel concessions and fare chart have been incorporated.
Information regarding Vigilance organization, Public grievance machinery and catering services have been incorporated.

Augmentation: During 2007-2008, Indian Railways augmented various trains on permanent basis by inducting 874 coaches, as against the Railway Budget, 2007-08 commitment of 800 coaches. Since, augmentation of trains on Indian Railways is an ongoing process; this year also 200 coaches have been used for augmentation. Besides, 170 coaches are also being used to clear extra rush of passenger during summer season.

LHB Coaches for Rajdhani Express: It is planned to convert 2443/2444 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express, 2423/2424/2435/2436 Guwahati-New Delh/Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, 2009/2010 Mumbai Central-ahmedabad Shatbdi Express, 2007/2008 Chennai-Mysore Shatabdi Express into new LHB coaches.
In addition to this, it is also proposed to covert 4649/4650 Amritsar-Jaynagar Saryu Yamuna Express and 4673/4674 Amritsar-Jaynagar Shaheed Express into stainless steel coaches.

23/24 coach length trains: At the end of year 2006-07, 78 trains were running with 23/24 coach length. During 2007-08, 38 more trains were augmented to 23/24 coach length. During the year 2008-2009, 50 more trains have been planned for augmentation to 23/24 coach length, of which 12 have already been given effect to.

Arrangement to clear extra rush:
To clear extra rush of passengers between April, 2007 to Dec, 2007, 16949.5 trips of special trains were run. During, January,2008 and March,2008 4801 trips of special trains were run.

Speeding up of trains

This year the following 3 pairs of trains have been converted into superfast services:
6511/6512 Yesvantpur-Korba Express (new no. 2251/2252) (running time reduced by 2 hrs /03 hr 15 minutes)
1033/1034 Pune-Darbhanga Express (new no. 2133/2134)
4601/4602 Sonpur-Jammu Tawi Mourdhwaj Express(new no. 2491/2492)

With the implementation of New Time Table from 1st July 2008, 242 mail/express trains are being speeded up. This includes 9 Rajdhani Express and 4 Shatabdi Express.
