This train arrives MGS either before time (5 to 10 mins.) or 1+ hour late (Shunted by Rajdhani). RNC GR: click here SDAH RAJ:click here (Though SDAH Raj closely followed no overtake) 1+ hour late RNC GR: click here SDAH RAJ:click here (Despite SD raj being half an hour late) So in short the train is at comeplete mercy of controllers
-Coach: 2008 manufactured Toilets clean, with mug, liquid soap(too dilute though), small fan Coaches clean and in nice condition

-> most window-glass have leakages, cant see outside due to the condensed water.
-> Each coach has got one LED screen near the passenger cabin door, displaying train name, approaching station, time, speed of train. But only speed and time was changing, rest all were showing fixed value. For return journey on 5th sept in G5, the name of the train was also wrongly displayed as yesvantpur garib rath.
-> 12878 was halted at some station due to some track issues(As told by attendant: maybe due to something else). One rajdhani came and halted beside it. After about half an hour, rajdhani was cleared to go and this was just the beginning of the show. All other Rajdhanis overtook it too (Sealdah, Howrah, BBS and one more ac train...???). Our train got delayed by 1.5 hrs. When it reached CNB, another garib rath from ANVT was announced to arrive. It seems both were tagged together thereafter.
-> Veg thali (Rs 100), with paneer, roti, rice and dal, 1 rasogulla. I had got a tiffin and did not take it. Rs 30 breafast(veg cutlet), Rs35 (bread omlette). Tea Rs 7.
-> Early morning, in Jharkhand the weather was excellent. it was cloudy and started raining heavily as we approached Patratu. It was better standing near the gates and enjoying the cool breeze and soothing greenery, than sitting inside. :)
-> Janitors had cleaned the coach and collected garbage. I gave good marks in the feedback from for both the journeys.
-> The train crawled past Patratu, slow enough for regular passengers to deboard. I decided better to go to Barkakana. The train halted there. Scores of passengers deboarded there.I took Gomoh Chopan passenger to Patratu. it came within half an hour. __________________**RETURN JOURNEY: 12877**__________________ -> Went to Barkakana (BRKA) to board GR. Booked a cab from Patratu. The new 4 lane road is a pleasure for the travellers. Reached there in approx 30 mins.
-> There was a lot of crowd for Garib rath (easily >100). Not a scheduled halt, so no announcement for the train. At 7pm, it crawled in slowly with its generator car working as its horn. :P .At platforms, electric supply was interrupted. We had to take help of our mobile camers to reach our coach safely. ->The charging point near our berth was faulty. When it halted at tundla, i went to guard to complain. He said i should have contacted the attendant and the matter could have been solved in the night only. Rightly so, one Mr. banerjee came and checked it. Switch was faulty and he bypassed it. All we passengers appreciated the quick action from the staff. I had never seen or expected such promptness from them.
