Gujarat Mail rake compo is same as earlier......it has not been changed as shown now.
I took this video of 12901 yesterday and it didnt had any AB1 coach.
It was a 25 coach rake. See the below video.
The rake compo is same as earlier. 8 SL , 8 3AC, 3 2AC, 1 1AC, 2 GS, 2 SLR.

yaa its 24 coach only but for only that specific day a track Inspection car was added.
but thats not d point...the point is that there is no AB1 or AB2 coach in d rake....it might be a temporary case due to some problem or shortage of 2AC coaches so they added AB1 or AB2 coach.....it no more has such AB1/AB2 coach.

compared to day trains....theres a huje demand for overnight journey......instead of wasting 6.5-7hrs traveling during day time in hatabdi/DD AC Exp...its better to travel this distance in overnight trains.

so u think palghar is a village??? its a muncipality in thane district same as vapi is muncipality in valsad district......... and who the hell will board a train at 1 am frm vapi to goto adi when they got so many other options.....and go and check 1977 timetable of wr even lokshakti and sau mail didnt had a halt at vapi and palghar had it .... while dahanu had a halt for paschim and bvi and vapi didnt had it ......so stop comaparing as if vapi is a metrocity ... whil all knws that vapi had got halt on basis of politics ...and double decker is a pure example of that!!!

Look at the other side.
Where vapi have numerous of trains for Ahmedabad, Plg& DRD Too have quite acceptable number of trains from afternoon ADI Pass till night VG Pass, Boisar is the Worst affected. After Day ADI Pass, directly train for BRC/ADI Is lokshakti, and then again VG Pass only.

Yes, Virar Dahanu stretch is the most neglected stretch on BCT ADI Section.
Earlier people used to say that Palghar and Boisar would be the best developing areas in entire Mumbai suburban. But politics tried everything to degrade it but" JAAKO RAKE SAAIYA, MAAR SAKE NA KOI" Inspite of absence of locals and railroad transportation, the PALGHAR-BOISAR Stretch is the only stretch which touched the high skies without politics and transportation, thanks to Maharashtra govt.
Intact it is my personal recommendation that Kutch Expres &, Dehradun Express should be provided a halt at Boisar

Also have you seen palghar from Inside that you are talking of development? If Vapi was such more developed, it should have been an Independent district, atleast a taluka.
Palghar is being now promoted to a DISTRICT HEADQUARTER, which was to happen from MAY 1st but due to some circumstances,its inauguration & annoumcement are postponed for sometime.
Every place do not become district. It's the development & population alongwith some other critetia only which decide for being a district.

Vapi is a Tier IV City whereas Boisar is a Tier II City, I can prove it officially. So again on which basis are you saying Vapi is a major city? Do you know what is a major city. As per your selection UBR, BLD, SJN, BIM are also major cities.

Train halts are given by IR on the basis of people's requirements and alternate ways...nt on the basis of city's tier...
Vapi station is near and easily acessible by daman diu and dadra nagar haveli U.T peoples. Stops of shatabdi and karnavati like trains r given due silvassa and daman. If WR would hav nt given halts at vapi then all these u.t people hav to travel by road to direct nashik or mumbai.. whereas palghar,boisar etc are much nearer to mumbai.
So plz my humble request is to u that dnt say anythng immoral regarding any specific city...

I twice a year go to silvassa from pune and i knw how much suitable is it to deboard/board trains at vapi and go to silvassa......first go to mumbai by deccan queen and then catch karnavati...all in 2s low fare....if vapi has nt got halts,then it would be too much difficult to catch any train from the lonely,dusty valsad station...

I know that many trains have an unnecessary hault at Vapi.But Vapi cannot be considered a minor station for the following reasons
1.Industrially developed placed
2.Labourers need train as transport
3.Vapi is a politically influenced place so pressure piled by politicians for hault at Vapi
4.Vapi is the nearest railhead to DAMAN which is a tourist place

The Double Track Diversion of BCT-NDLS and BCT-ADI is excellent! I always watch this diversion which occurs just after the Baroda Car Shed gets over. Many-a-times I see Rajasthan/Delhi Trains standing just b4 the diversion on the BCT-NDLS track, waiting for the signal to clear while my Lokshakti Express was reaching Baroda on the BCT-ADI track. Really it was amazing to see the two bussiest railway tracks waiting to merge for Bombay just b4 Baroda!

Bhuj-bandra triweekly will run on slot of ADI-PUNE triweekly Duronto so it wont be a extra overtake.......
in DN direction overtake can be averted if Gmail leaves BCT according to old timing of 2140hrs.....but WR choosed other way of speeding the train by making it depart at 22hrs.
