Generally SCR MMTS trains in Hyderabad/Secundrab area of AP has the frequency of 25 - 30-40 minutes on LPI -FM-LPI and LPI-HYB-LPI route As per Railway Ministry directive SCR is supposed to introduce MB ladies special train on Faluknuma-Lingmpalli-Faluknuma route. But wisefully SCR has just converted one of existing regular MMTS trains as MB Ladies Special. As a result without any increase in number of ladies commuters the train goes almost empty with hardly 25% utilisation with empty seats where as gap between two regulars for general passengers has increased to 70 to 80 minutes on both direction on peak hours leaving male passengers standered at all stations. As a result the MMTS Train like 47155 (FM-LPI MMTS) in morning hours and 47190 (LPI-FM) in evening hours gets extreamly over crowded at all stations. 15 minutes but in eveing time the gap is 70 minutes between 1730 to 1840 hrs on Lingampalli -Faluknuma route.
The daily officer goes /passengers bound for stations like Begampet / Hitec city stations are from Falkumna/Kachiguda & long distance passenger bound for Kachiguda/Secundrabad from suburban areas are the worst sufferers. Hitec City contributes 50% of MMTS passenger tarffic as it meets the needs of Hitechies working in software park are the worst sufferers.
Request SCR to introduce additional MMTS trains in peak hours from Faluknuma in moring hours and at 18 hrs from Lingampalli towards Faluknuma for general passengers and to convert the MB ladies back as ladies spl in the best interest of common public and to avoid revnue loss to Rlys./

This problem started from Didi became the RM.
Just to goof up the 'respect' to the women, they have removed one rake of MMTS and made as MMTS. So, the other gender need not be respected :P

They can attach another 2 bogies for Women with NSG or RPF but when there is no separate line for MMTS in hyderabad, they cannot afford to run trains for ladies.
I am not in support of such silly activities and you can see that they run without ladies and the lady rpf shooing away other passengers..

98% of daily Ladies coomuters travel in 3 combined Ladies cum First class coaches on front ,middle & rear . Only those travel with male/family members boards general compartments. Where is the Q of increase in numbers of ladies doesnt arise. Previously before conversion of MB ladies spls the same ladies passengers were travelling in 47152/47211 and 47190/47188 which were converted from General trains to MB Ladies specials. Now the difference is the same numbers of female commuters previously used to travel 3 compartments against in nine coaches presently along with 30 female police constables. SCR has also acknowledged the fact that total number of passengers including number of female constable is hardly 25% on each trip apart cost of salary & loss of revenue to railways! Let SCR with the help of Railway Board withdraw thease MB Spl trains in public interest!

Yes, it runs empty. I had missed GR once when I was waiting @ Hitech City.
SCR website was not updated and assuming the MMTS Service for MEN, I had reached hitech only to see the empty MMTS of MATHRUBHOOMI with Lady RPF Inside.
Of course, GR went away in the mean time from SC.

PRADYU jee one of our ex.cm naidu shab told fire men to water plants as they are sitting idel through out 365 days and once fire occured and no body is there to rescue iit. so even it runs empty it is reserved for ladies, due to bandhs,other things these may be empty otherwise always full or atleast occupies
let us request for extra coaches or extra trains and not to remove onces shelter for others benefit

Can u tell me how its an disadvantage to ladies and children if the same coaches are attached to all existing 6 car or 9 car MMTS services?
Till today, I have hardly seen men travelling in Ladies coach and the ladies who travel in the General coach might face a problem.
In cities like CSTM or MAS, dedicated rail route is available for locals but in Hyd, they are run in between the schedules of Passenger Trains.
So, instead of running a spl service, these coaches can be attached to the existing services with the same security.

Where is the extra numbers of women passengers to have a full 9 coach MB Ladies spl train? Till introduction of MB ladies spl on FM-LPI-FM route all female passengers were travellling in same train in 3 ladies coach (with normal occupancy of 70%) with just 3 female constable but now same train is converted as full fledged ladies train with 20 female constables blowing whistle and manning each door at all stations. As a result now the occupancy has come down to hardly 25% on full 9 coach train.....Where hundred of male commuters who were previously traveling by same train have to wait for 40 minutes extra for next general train after gap of 70 minutes on both direction on peak hour.! The ladies coaches in EMU rakes has slight colour difference with Red strap on top of door to differentiate between ladies and general coaches. The EMU /MMTS rakes are in multiples of 3 ie 6 or 9 or 12 and each combination of 3 coaches one is ladies cum first class & Handicapted passengers. In other words any 9 coaches of EMU /MMTS rakes of any Railway will 3 such coaches meant for ladies/First class/PH passengers ie every 2nd , 5th and 8th coach of any EMU/MMTS rakes. When thease ladies coache itself goes half emtpy then what is the need to have full fledged 9 coach dedicated train for Ladies?

Belive it or not upon interaction with Female passengers who travel by 47188 LPI-FM Matrubhumi Ladies Spl have started complaining of detention at KCG station for 15-20 or more and they also feel unsecure since hardly 2-3 female companions are on board including women constable once the train reaches KCG ! More over when the train arrives at station they find the station roads on both side almost empty since 2-3 women alights and walks on station road. Incidently they also wanted that trains to be crowdy so that when they get down and walk they feel safe with male passengers.

Thats true. Women feel more secured if travelling in more crowd rather than alone.
Eve teasing is the only problem which can be controlled by deploying more RPF.

That was after it was converted back for lack of crowd-they couldnt change the colour immediately so it ran with same colour and the media as usual magnified the no issue to big issue-late rthey changed back the colour as to normal bus with only one board in peak hour running as Ladies special

No I am not asking you to refrain from any issue... lets support the daily suffering of MMTS passengers. SCR is least bothered about MMTS passengers! I have personally spoken to many times with Dy COM(Coaching)/SC but not yeilding any result even at that high level !

I was personally the victim of these matrhubhoomi spl MMTS and I dont support anything which is against the general public.
Instead, I have requested them to attach more coaches for the current MMTS and dedicate them for Ladies/Differently abled. But, who listens?
Can anyone dare to move anything against Ladies even though its for good cause?

In chennai MRTS, regularly 6car EMUS will used for shuttles. rarely 9 car.
I have seen once, ladies special was having 9 car EMU. between velachery-beach station.
whole the train is free almost.

I request all rail fan members from Hyd to visit any MMTS station enroute (LPI_FM) and have a close look at the crowd for 47190 leaving LPI at 1840 hrs , Arr at SC - 1925 hrs (which runs always 10 minutes minimum late daily) which comes after gap of 70 minutes. You will be surprised to see people hanging on closed motor coach door in very unsafe manner.....
As a association members we have suggested many alternatives like moving 57659 SUR-FM Passenger on time before 47190 & re-introduce Tandur -Bolaram (which is diverted to HYB since july 2011) for decongestion, but it is knowingly detained by controller between VKB-LPI and allowed to move only after 47190.

The MB ladies spl between FM-LPI and LPI- FM runs on even sundays with no takers. Today I saw MB Ladies spl arriving at PF 4 of SC at around 19 hrs ( 3o minutes late) and left at 19.12 hrs. Hardly there were any female passenger in the coach except the female whistle blower constables. Its good that they are not blowing whistle that much at each approching stations alerting the male passengers!
Guess SCR is absorbing this overhead expenes under the wire for running this train on sundays/public holidays. Needless to say such type of waste costs are recovered from regular passengers thru some other means!
