I want to know about the adherence of this train to the TT. Because usually special trains are made to wait if anything anywhere goes wrong.( even if its an overtake for SF/EXP.

its not required to terminate in TVC, it can run till TEN, it is the short distance train to Mumbai for TEN, NCT people..
yes let it run till TEN.no one's opposing it.
ya it is now running till TEN oly...but 22629/30 TEN-DR is awaiting for inauguration...so once TEN-DR is introduced this spl may get regularized till TVC oly

There are 15 trains in a week for TVC from Mum, out of which 2 runs 7 days a week...
sir not 15 trains..only 4 trains from TVC/KCVL to Mumbai....out of that CAPE-CSTM and Netravati runs daily..and one weekly and another bi-weekly...remaining trains runs via Panvel
anyway it TVC is connect to Mumbai with these many trains

this train can be regularised as weekly, sure it will be hit and more benefit for TVC, KTTYM and TEN people
Dadar - Tirunelveli is expected to start soon...
already TEN has two Mumbai originating trains..Chalukya and yet to be introduced 22629/30 TEN-DR...So this can be better terminated @ TVC/KCVL

Chances are less for this special train. They usually announces along with LTT-ERS which has already been announced.

There is a slight chance for announcing this train in the coming week. Western India Passengers Association met CR GM and other officials and and submitted memorandum requesting to run this train this year also. The response was good from the authorities. They also sent fax messages to Kerala CM, Railway Minister and other MPs requesting the same.

Great news, It seems all the pending trains of last year will be started after 1st July...
By going through this summer special TT i think the much awaited Dadar - Tirunelveli (Via KRCL) Weekly Express/22629 will run in April itself
