It would be nice if this train is provided with a halt at Samalkot...Then better connectivity from MAS-Kakinada is achieved...Otherwise people have to depend on 17643/44 which is not a quick train...

But I read the Financial Revenue report of IR every year...There every time I see that main goods that transported through IR are Coal,Iron Ores,Dolomites,Finished Steel from Steel Plants,Foodgrains,Salt,Sugar,Fertillizers,Cement,Tea,Packaged Container & other goods....I think cashew comes under Other Goods which is nominal %

Just was seeing the map of this train between BBS and Bhadrak bypassing CTC.
I found that the map is shown wrong showing reversal at a particular station when zoomed in.
Next it is electrified line but showing diesel line (orange color).
This is even for train 12666/65 CAPE Howrah CAPE exp.
Hope this be corrected soon....

this train wont bypass cuttack it goes via ctc but wont stop

See VSKP to HWH via Coro and HWH mail is 881km.
But for CAPE and TPJ exp it is some 911km. It bypasses CTC.

yes in ir also its showing from hwh-vskp 904 km for tiruchiraplli-hwh and cape-hwh pls update useless bypass takes xtra 30kms
for falknam hwh-bbs it takes 439kms and for tiruchi-hwh i takes 462 kms

Yes..previously this had 11 SL coaches then also not completely filled...now 2 more SL made permanent thats why vacant..but these vacant berths will be allocated to BLS - BBS PQ passengers by TTE on payment of respective bribes .
Actually I was thinking of going to Howrah today to check the chart of this train. Now since the chart has been prepared and berths are still available for current booking, it is now of use for me to go. May be I will try my luck on Sunday.

Yes Sunday Tiruchirapalli would be far more occupied...whenever I've travelled in Tiruchirapalli always travelled on Sunday...Never travelled on Thursday..
I prefer to travel on next Thursday. Any idea about the condition of the AC Coaches/Charging Points/Food/Speed?

Being a SR Train,should be 1000 times better than Coromandel/MAS Mail...Sorry I'vent ever entered inside its AC Coaches but only thing I had noticed is that all the coach attenders belonged to SR..though the Pantry Staffs are as usual Bihari's .
Mr.Wrik and Sabya Dada used this train for their return after that ICF coach meet. you can ask them or read their trip report.
Used the same for both up and down but went by Sleeper.
Yes. Don't know nothing about AC. But don't ask about speed. For both direction it arrived well before time and as per historical data, it always does that. So if you're returning to Howrah, you'll enter the station within 3 am and have to seat there for long time.

1.It depends on both the Journey leg Cancellations also Joinees from EE-Beyond/HWH.
2.GNWL has more chances since it will have the most quota.
If say there is no one using a berth after a passenger de-boards at TBM using Trichy-TBM leg,from TBM-Eluru it will be alloted to a passenger in PQWL preference order and from there EE-Beyond/HWH joinee.Also in PQWL there is no RAC concept either confirm or WL...Hope it helps you a bit.

bp can be possible /done if do it when u book tatakl tkt on same day prior to one day before of jrny/chart prepred
