I think I might be missing something here. are you saying the 2 locos are standing on the Malleswaram side of YPR PF and not LOGH side? Since the yard is on the LOGH side, WAP7 had to reverse and go to the other end?
Ok.. I think I got your statement wrong looks like. Yes.. it was form the LOGH side. Shunted like this, Rake->WAP7->ALCO.... Then the ALCO & WAP got uncoupled and shunted back to the front of the rake before getting detached on the siding. Then other LPs got into the WAP to pull it and couple it to the front of rake.

i always wonder like 12839/40 and 12841/42 why arent there two trains between hwh and bengaluru. duronto is there but i mean normal SF. like using opposite rakes with one having more stops and one having less stops.

A new train if possible should be introduced between SBC/YPR/BNC to SDAH/KOAA. Not only taking off loads from YPR Exp, Anga Exp, GHY-SBC, but also it will be a good revenue earning for IR too. needs an aggressive TT, much like the 22503 Premium has but with a bit more stoppages. A good route will be via Hyd or SC instead of routing it to MAS, since MAS already graces Coro, Mail and other bypassing trains towards HWH.
