I think the SWR will announce 07314 Hubli-Chennai triweekly exp as a summer special train.SER,NWR &NR have alredy announced summer special trains one month before such that the specials will get good patronization.Very Soon we expect summer specials fm SWR also.

Sorry had taken the video in other angle and had to rotate it17313 hauled by WAM4 blasting past a scenic route between Katpadi and Jolarpettai-its trailing on time Sanghamithra and being chased by late running Guwahati-Trivandrum Express and Coimbatore intercity express

It was running close to 105kmph-Loco was AJJ WAM4 and the train was a 13 coacher

Yes they do!! hauling 12028 shatabdi/12008 shatabdi and in this video too
shatabdis getting wam4s!!! there is some serious loco shortage it seems
yes they exceed from 110km/hr to 120km/hr upgraded version wam4 only
dont underestimate wam4 they are very powerful and solid locos ,20 years back in the absence of wap version ,it was wam4 who was doing business for indian rly.they look 1000times better than wap4. the only wap4 have an egde of having more hp and top speed of 140km/hr
Yes-lesser stops and not much of acceleration required so shatabdis on thsi sector do well with WAM4's
