This MEMU often runs as 1745 AJJ Fast or 1800 VLR fast or 1910 TPTY fast and contains 110v AC socket on coaches which no other MEMU have till date. Do u know in wht order, this MEMU is circulated?
In a week most of time this train stands idlely at ABU, why nt SR make some efficient use of it??
yes, This MEMU is kinda circulated, It depends on AVD officials how they plan the schedule ..

Will it be good if this train runs via Kolar, Chikkaballapur, YNK,YPR instead of KJM between Bangarapet-YPR, anyhow it has 2 overtakes in that section, instead of the overtakes it can run via Kolar so that Kolar, Chikkaballapur can be connected to YPR/DVG/UBL. I am expecting there wont be any much running time difference eventhough Kolar is longer route.
Kolar route is on the way to facilitate long version & multiple train run @ single section!!
The PF arnt capable to handle long rake & approximately PF arnt equipped to handle X/O or OT as most been single track halt types...second track @ various PF under construction yet!!
With Token system in place, the route is much slower...further, same time, two train cnt run in various section, as route dnt permit any possible X/O cz of Loop Line miss @ approx all stations!!
A train in the Kolar-Chikballapur-YNK route can be tried out, as the section does not have any traffic other than the 2 passengers everyday. But better to start off with an extended passenger service between BWT/DVG for trials rather than starting off with this express train. The run time will also increase by 1-1.5 hours and may be more due to less MPS on this section. ( Token system is not a problem for speed as such).
The section where Token system persist, hav restricted speed to pass thru Stations (exceptions were trunk route like BSB-LKO via SLN, JAT-JUC earlier)...currently complete BUI-MAU-AMH-SHG section works same way & even restricted Speed limit been metioned @ each Station signal!!
If u chck the train mechanism in between CBK-YNK, u get to find, no 3 set of trains intersect any1 bt run only delicately over the section..whch has the baseline of no Station with Loop line to permit any crossings!! KQZ-CBP remain sameway with most serve as halt stations!!
56525 will get affected
If I remember correctly, Chintamani, Sidlaghatta and Srinivaspur have loop lines (in addition to Kolar and CBP) and multiple PFs to facilitate crossings and OTs.
If re-routed, 17313 can reach Chintamani ( 65 KM from BWT ) around 20:15 and cross 56525 which also reaches CMY around 20:15). In case of delays also, both IDT and SVS are barely 20km from CMY and with 10-15 min delay, things can be managed. Even with a token system and relative lack of crossing stations, this line can handle a few more non-daily trains.
KQZ-CBP do hav few station to facilitate crossing (thats y "most serve as halt station" was highlighted nt all)!!
Multiple Train to & fro run will get sanctioned only after loop track completion hppn on major station, whch is under progress!! Currently, in case of any delay, other train has to remain blocked for @ least 1-2 hrs & which could hav major impact!!
If handling was possible, there would hav train over the section..but train schedule & track layout confirm the limitations, as of now!! The possibility whch existed was utilized to

Now started moving., coach looks new with fresh paint smell. IRI people how does many sleeper coaches have Mobiles charger points near berths.but some. Caches have two sockets near toilets.?? Nowadays. Such plugs are essential. Right?

This train is supposed to be for the benefit of UBL-YPR passengers to go to MAS. But TT shows that it is useless as it touches the stations from Harihar to YPR at ghost hours and wastes 1/2 day. Return trip is still horrible with crawling behind daily ICE and reaching at stns between YPR-Haveri at ghost hours. Proper TT management is required. Should start from UBL by 4 Pm and reach YPR by night 1130 and reach MAS by 0630. Return should start by night 2200 and reach YPR by morning 0430 and reach UBL by 1200 noon.
UBL-MAS spll is recent proposed train and it is know that MAS is highly conjested
where as kcvl-SBC is introduced long back...by that time i guess SBC is not so crowded...
May be in present situation SWR will also do the same by keeping Less TAT with out considering timings...example is SC-Ypr GR

Agreed that this is a special and MAS is totally congested. Then why SR agreed for MAS as terminal? They could have shifted to MS or VM or PDY.
What about VSG/UBL-MAS weeklies which are running for more than a decade? Why can't their TT be changed to suit travelling public? With such a pathetic TT, how do you expect patronage?
we dnt have proper info reg the proposal of VSG-MAS and UBL-MAS in the budget,may be SR has given that slot or SWR might have kept RSA in the view and proposed...bca that set of trains have complete RSA.
And i dnt see any official demand from SWR/SR to change the timings of VSG-MAS.
no reason why SR has considered only MAS and SWR has proposed to MAS only....
KCVL/ERS-SBC trains can go back to SA or TPJ during day time. With just one more rake and RSA, one day time train to TPJ can be run. Say for example, SBC Dep 0830 and TPJ arrival 1545. Next day morning, this can start at TPJ by 0700 and arrive at SBC by 1430 and go back to KCVL/ ERS.
Why SR cannot do this?

If SR has any TT problems, use these trains to run a trip to Hassan and bring back to SBC in the evening. Something similar to what SR is doing for MYS-MV train which goes to TPJ and returns back. As of now, there is no daily train from Bengaluru to Hassan (I will not count Karwar/ Kannur exp as a train to Hassan).

SBC-MYS is full with extended trains from north KA. Here, what I am suggesting is to get first ever connectivity to Hassan from SBC, by running as a separate train with different number. Both ideas are different.

There is obviously a big difference in morning arrival pattern at SBC vs MAS. Several SR trains wait at various points at MAS outer in queue for more than 20 minutes every day morning. for this reason, SR gives extra heavy slack in the TT for all MAS arrivals except may be Duronto, Raj and GR. I'm fairly sure even if there are any new SR trains coming, they will not get the morning arrival slot.
