Loved the way the station master and the ALP exchanged green flags in between them.
The train uses the Howrah- Santragachi- Uluberia- Mecheda- Tamluk- Kanthi- Ramnagar Bengal- Digha route. At Narayan Pakuria Murail (NPMR), the train branches off the main Howrah- Kharagpur line. The train has RSA (Rake sharing Arrangement) with 12857/12858 Howrah (HWH)- Digha...

And now the star from me Arkya. But one doubt. If this train branches off from Narayan Pakuria Murail, then why is Panskura being shown as an intermediate station on the route. That is applicable only for the EMUs from HWH to Haldia, which run upto Panskura and then reverse direction. Right ?

Correct.. The HWH HDZ and DGHA bound EMUs get a rake reversal at Panskura.. All the other Digha bound trains from Howrah, namely Tamralipta, Kandari, Duronto, and Paharia takes the branch line to Tamluk right after Narayan Pakuria Murail, so that they dont need a loco reversal at Panskura Junction.
