50 minutes late running 12886 Bhojudih (BJE)- Santaldih (SNTD)- Shalimar (SHM) ARANYAK Superfast Express headed by off-link 22320 HWH shed WAP-4E simply blasts through the station Madpur on SER's Kharagpur- Panskura stretch at its MPS of flat 110 km/hr.. The loco was especially in a raging mood, and keeps on groaning like a mad bull while thrashing the station.

After getting delayed by 20 minutes on the Midnapore- Gokulpur- Giri Maidan- Kharagpur stretch, 12886 Bhojudih (BJE)- Santaldih (SNTD)- Shalimar (SHM) ARANYAK Superfast Express headed by off-link 22320 HWH shed WAP-4E slowly crawls its way towards the station having the longest platform in the world. At first, the double lines that run parallel to our single line are the lines coming from Tatanagar. Then we meet ano ther set of double lines coming from Bhubaneshwar. On a frosting cold December morning, half an hour late running 12885 Shalimar (SHM)- Santaldih (SNTD)- Bhojudih (BJE) ARANYAK Superfast Express headed by a furious looking 22854 SRC (Santragachi) shed WAP-4 with headlights on cuts through the somewhat dense fog, and blasts through Bhogpur station on SER's HWH- KGP stretch.
This train has got a record of getting extensions on numerous occasions. Earlier, it was upto Bankura. Then got extended to Adra, then Santaldih, and finally upto Bhpjudih. It follows SER's Shalimar- Santragachi- Kharagpur- Midnapore- Bishnupur- Bankura- Adra- Santaldih- Bhojudih route.

You can also find that construction of a platform in the Up Line, and also an Up Loop line going on in full swing. In the entire stretch, the platforms are situated between Down Main and Down Loop lines. And Up trains having halts at the stations have to move on the Down Main line.
