Again no news regarding increase in frequency of this train to daily....For such a short distance running as Tri-Weekly which has great demand always.....Highly disappointing :( :(

This train should be augmented with additional 2 SL coaches atleast because of its great demand from pilgrimage and tourist...If SR finds difficulty in augmenting additional coaches then UR can be reduced to 4 from 6 as tourist and pilgrimage dont prefer UR much..

Also for meenakshi exp 2 SL and 2 IInd AC coaches should be attached.....
completely agree..Meenakshi should have 12 SL,two 3AC,one 2 AC,FC,6 UR...In the case of CAPE-RMM exp there are very few number of ppl who prefer UR..

yes selva very few prefers UR,so better to add more coaches will help more accomodations.....
yes krish..99% of the patronage is through pilgrimage and tourist..only 1 % is used by local ppl...SL and 3AC gets completely full from RMM itself...UR runs with 50% occupancy...

This train should be made daily..If it is made daily it will be helpful for tourist and pilgrimage..If it is made daily then the same rake can be used to run another train between CAPE-RMM in day time via MNM-VPT route..

Instead of running in the same route, it can be made to run till cbe such a way tat rmm-cbe-rmm and rmm-cape-rmm can hav rsa...

CAPE RMM can be daily no issue, RSA think it can have no RSA, CBE RMM can RSA with CBE MV/maq/kik.
yes...what i said is after making CAPE-RMM daily the same set of rakes can be used to run Day express between CAPE-RMM..
i dont think CAPE RMM day is necessary one.
just said..if becomes daily the rakes will remain idle for more than 15 hours...
we cant do anything for that

the rakes of 22621/22RMM-CAPE and 16779/80RMM-TPTY exp rests in the yard of RMM from morn 5.30 to next day night 8.30..these rakes can be well utilized to operate a new spl train btwn RMM-CBE via KKDI untill RMM gets new ONT to CBE

the line was closed for traffic before 4 years for GC..now trail run of loco has been completed..signalling works are pending...
total disatnce from MNM-VPT is 67km...and via MDU its 91 KM

what about the status of double track between CApe to MDU.. any wrk progressing?
only DG-MDU is doubled...MDU-CAPE is still a single line only..no progress in doubling
