If this Express train is made to run as daily & extended till Tuticorin, mainline area [particularly Kaveri Delta districts' people] will get back their yeaster year & pride "Janatha express" which they lost now as it was operated earlier in this same route.Also it is very essential for the benefit of business people & other traders to commute between & beyond Madurai in the Southern Tamil Nadu districts & vice versa.

A new separate Train should be restored in the form of janatha exp to TN from chennai via main line,mahal exp extension is not needed,it can terminate at MDU itself the only thing SR would do is make the mahal exp as daily service by providing new coaches.....
no need for extension of this train to TN...TN needs another service via VPT-APK-MNM-KKDI-TPJ-TJ-VM.....that will be the solution for another ONT from TN to MS and first ONT connectivity from APK...
Very nice suggestion.By way of doing so, APK- MNM area will get one daily connectivity to Chennai & also it will act as an additional service for Sivaganga & chettinad people.May be rerouted via TVR-KKDI after the completion of snail crawling gauge conversion works in this sector.

TSI needs second ONT for that the current spl 06745/46 TEN-TSI-MAS(via Namakal) instead of ED should be regularized...This will satisfy the need of second ONT from TSI and TEN and first time connectivity to ASD..
For Cape/NCJ,MS-NCJ Weekly should be made Daily
MAS-NCJ Weekly should be diverted via SA-KRR-DG...and made daily...
So almost all south TN destinations will have additional ONT to Chennai

Yesterday, The SR GM Mr. RAKESH MISRA inspected the doubling work at VRI of VM-DG section. He said, The work will be over very soon. Out of 7 rly. stations works at 3 were completed. He came by spl train from MS and inspected till GOC.

but after cgl-vm, every train can reach vm in 2.15 hrs max from ms havng stops at tbm, cgl, mlmr...
until that u gave the tt with a adequate slag time. since all the crossings would be completed btwn tmv and prt, slag time btwn vm and mv is excess i guess... again a gud slag btwn mv and tj.

today morning mannai arrived at 3.05 at mv.
exactly 5 hrs from ms(started by 22.05).
so if kamban starts by 9.30pm, it may reach around 2.30 at mv.
but why do you want it to be happen. this is the only train that has convenient time for mv in up and down.

problem is it waits for kamban, mannai and ms bound boatmail to cross. you know, when mq bound mannai enters cupj in 2nd pf, boatmail used to wait in 3rd pf daily. both will wait until kamban and mannai get crossed.

yes rearding speed in MS-MV-TPJ section no prob...from TPJ-RMM its worst..no crossing nothing even then goes like a kattai vandi...
It has a DEMU crossing brother. but even in TPJ KKDI it slow as passenger train

Instead of running Rockfort exp via chordline and once again reversing the rakes at TPJ to KU. It would be better to operate it via main line. KU, MV passengers will be benifited by a reduced travel time.

Boss! rockfort's actual source station is tpj. it is only for tiruchi people. sr operated slip coaches of rf to kmu because of gc btwn mv-vm. now after the gc completion of mv-vm stretch also they are operating it till kmu... soon we can expect the announcement that rf would be partially cancel rf btwn tpj and kmu...
I understand it boss, Rf is for Tiruchi people only, instead of running slip coaches causing longer journey they can run via mainline reducing time.
Even in chordline rf takes 7 hrs to TPJ.
