ALL the non rajdhani trains are doing 115 KMPH mnimum
so rajdhani must be in 125-130 kmph :D

arey nahi bhai SLN se 10 KMPH se tez nhi paas hoti yeh

No ICF train can do more than 105 kmph.

It's interesting to see Rajdhani Trains doing well in certain parts of India. Even the YouTube Timeline Cover of Assam Railfan from JUC Mr. Abhinav displays a Rajdhani Train :-)

Yea, I'm a fan of this train and so far as I know this train has no RSA.

i am fan of all those trains ,which run kolkata to north bengal & north eastern...:-)

The trainboard does not show any rake sharing which is why I don't think it has any permanent RSA with any other train.

train boards might b changed. if u see train boards of hwh pune and hwh cstm duronto, their boards wont reflect any rsa too...similarly boards of mithilanchal and tirhut r changed. this is a weekly train. might b having a rsa...

Sound reasoning. Last year this train was having rsa with Puja special Delhi Express, that's what I know about the rsa of this train.

All we railfans love IR trains but there is one favorite child towards whom we tend to get biased at times. Which is your favorite train (Non-Rajdhani/Shatabdi) ? :-)

I have forgotten about it so I was asking you. Sealdah Raj has been my favorite in Raj Exp trains since I have traveled in it once. I will put up my Oct, 2005 Trip Report on SDAH Raj in a few days :-)

My all time fav train is VSKP HYB Godavari Express irrespective any better train coming between VSKP and SC.

I was thinking that can Gurumukhi Exp become a better train for faster & punctual travel between Calcutta and Patna/Ambala than Akal Takht Exp ? ;-p

I think Gurumukhi is as good a train as Akal Takht. Yes, the travel time can be made shorter if faster tracks are laid along the route.

You are right. The tracks between ASN & MGS via GAYA are 130+ Capable but via PNBE are only fit for 110 Kmph. Even beyond MGS, the tracks on the ALD-CNB-NDLS Route are 130+ Capable but via BSB-SLN-SRE are only fit for 110-115 Kmph ;-p

PS : I wonder that how come two different routes have tracks of different qualities in the same state. It seems as if soil conditions in a same state vary from area to area .... district to district :-0

Yes I took it. Have just returned home after travelling in this train all the way from Saharanpur. It reached Saharanpur exactly on time and kept excellent timing throughout its run. In the morning it reached Patna even 23 minutes before time. An excellent train I would say.
