Why cannot SR increase the coaches for 12077/78? Atleast one CC and 2 2S required. This acts as an opposite train for Pinakini and a good day connection to MAS for VSKP/RJY travellers.

Currently this train is running with CE1.
and in coach C1 out of total 73 seats, 13 tickets are booked for MAS to NGNT. So new guntur gets a good chunk of passenger bookings.

but biggest irony is regular C1 is a normal intercity CC coach but the CE1 is a janshatabdi type CC.
So when the train hits overspeed of excess 110,then C1 shakes very badly.
once upon a time one of the best train to travel to vijayawada from chennai,,,,all tamil people for vising temple tourists prefer this train to night train,,,but all the prestige gone because of diverting it via new guntur,,,,,it will be very good if its restored back via normal route,,,,,better if new guntur people want a train more passenger train from vijayawada to tenali junction can be started so that all the persons on new guntur can take janshat,pinakini in tenali or vijayawada,,,,,,orelse future exp trains can run via this route ,,,,not this sr train,,,,bad decision by southern railway,,
but must be restored and a passanger must be included,,,
But I do not think diverting via New Guntur is adding much to its distance. To my knowledge, some works are in progress to increase MPS between Guntur and Krishna canal. At present there is speed restriction in that section. Hopefully, once those works are completed, it can run with good speed and cover up sometime.

2 weeks back i faced while travelling from VSKP-SC
Shatabdhi express between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
They are toying with increasing unnecessary hopes.
As far as zone is concerned they will make it into a power play I am sure by the end of this 5year period in last midterm budget,they will announce zone . At that time it will zone calling zone, we will have wait for another 3years may be from here on.
The same is happened and happening with GR div.
Before election RM announced gr division, still the division is in papers, it has not come out of CR.
