I am going to visit Guwahati this Diwali.I want to know which train would be better regarding the puntuality.LTT GUWAHATI express or LTT KAMAKHYA ac express.I would be visiting with my family.Which would be good and more punctual among the two?

It would be better take any train from munbai-Hwh and from hwh to Ghy,
Because Ltt-Kamakhya is always late and neither LTT-GHY maintains pancuality

ltt kyq is a new train and currently has a rsa with a special. this rsa is leading to enormous delays of ltt kyq.
ltt ghy is atleast better when it comes to punctuality, but even ltt ghy runs late. also ltt ghy is terribly terribly overcrowded.

The Spl is now cancelled..So we can expect LTT-KYQ start running close to one time atleast..
I have no issues with crowd cos i will get my bookings done well in advance and i wl book in 2 ac.I have worries only about the punctuality or else i have to break my journey at Howrah and then continue with SARAIGHAT EXP,which is punctual

If would like to go in a direct train i would suggest to go for LTT-KYQ AC Express since it has started just now would settle down by the time of Diwali and expect to run with decent enough punctuality..
Sirji,even i would like to have a straight go with no break,but the prob is that i will need to book my tickets 2months in advance and if the delay still prevails,it would be torturing for me and my family.A delay of 4 hours is good enough then a delay of approximately 20 hours.
Agree regarding that feel AC Express should settle down by that time and start running with decent punctuality...If possible book in both i.e., Via HWH & AC Express and later if you see major delay just cancel AC Express.
YAA,i got to know that ltt guwahati off late has been running 12 hrs behind schedule.But the positive point is that it also reaches before time or late by just 2 hrs or so.If I need to take a chance,i mite prefer this train.Or else,MUMBAI-HOWRAH-GUWAHATI.Those trains are always punctual

I really don't know why this train being a fully ac train does not have a pantry facility.A pantry car is must for such a long journey train.The same question arises for the LTT-HARIDWAR express?Can any one answer
pantry car has nothing to do with a full ac or partial ac status...to add to it many a long distance trains which run even longer than this train lacks pantry...i agree, that pantry should be provided for such a long distance train but its allotted based on availability...may be augmented later...ac hot buffet cars currently exist only in rajdhanis...

another train from kamakhya to pune(ac express) can be run with the same lhb rake..........this can run via mldt,hwh,nagpur.............highly popular route would immensely help the people of northeast,north bengal,malda rampurhat.......there has been demand to introduce upto pune

disappointing the way this train is handled, being NF railways only premier train and this is the way its handled, i am glad that NF railways doesn't get the premier trains nor a duronto and probably never will (saraighat belongs to ER and Raj belongs to NR, only train which runs on schedule mostly)
This was having RSA with KYQ-PNBE AC Spl could be the cause for the delay of this. Now the special has cancelled so hope to see this one to run smoothly and settle down...

again i dunno what is wrong with IR or is it that LHB Coaches are produced and can be only given the RAJ livery..hehehe....for a normal SF train it should not be given the RAJ livery....it spoils the RAJ Charm..!!!!

Why is this train out of Train Enquiry System...?? Even 60 Hrs late running Mahananda can be tracked..but this is I suppose around 24 Hrs late...Why isnt it showing anywhere..???
