FOOD was pathetic... Though the pantry was available, Breakfast was not available at 10:00. This can be excused since 10:00 am might be too late...But not that late either. We got into train at 3:00 am so woke up at 10:00 am. And then one PC guy came to take order and said It's biryani for lunch and breakfast is not avaiable. So we ordered 3 Biriyanis as we were too hungry. When he delivered the food and opened the packs, we found its fried rice with full of oil in it. But he claims it as Biryani.
I asked him," Mai socha thu sahise Biriyani leke ayega".
He asked me,"Where are you from ?"
My Answer: "Hyderabad"

Mr Rayalaseema Rustam,thanks for ur concern...this is the same biriyani we encounter while travelling in Bangalore GHY train in which at least 5 meals have to be taken in the entire trip...so just think of our condition...even if we can eat such stinking biriyani quantity is so less that it isnt enough for our hunger.

please tell me what to do as I'll be travelling for 50 Hrs in 12509 which offers bad quality food at high price...also previously I used to rely on Vijayawada & VSKP biriyani which has become worst yaak now...please advice me...
My Advise to you for travelling in 12509: This train halts for 30 minutes in MAS. Getdown, go get whatever food, you can get to eat for breakfast from Hotel SHARAVANA BHAVAN on in the terminal building opp PF #9&10. The best veggie food renowned across the world.

but train halts @ MAS @ 05.30 in the morning....how can I have food so early...?? Or are u talking about to pack foods from Saravana Bhavan...is it going to be hot at least for 4 Hrs..???
train ki biryani kabhi nahi khani chaiyehe.. + aapne toh soup bhi pee liya.. ye dono cheeze kabhi bhi mat kharidna.

Then at BZA, for lunch, goto COMESUM food outlet and get some fresh & hot biryani or any rice item or DOSA s which ever you may prefer.. Train stops for 15 mts. If you dont have time, buy from the vendors from COMESUM only they come to trains and sell too. Pic is attached. You can actually call 011-41100100. Comesum nation wide ordering phone number. Just call them, tell you which train you arrive, They will serve into your train. Same is the case with VSKP....Food is better than pantry and almost there with better biryanis... I have not tasted non veg though since I am a veggie....If you want to have nice breakfast... Thats the best place to eat... Just carry it into your train and have breakfast at 7, 7:30... Its worth getting up early to have better breakfast
Thanks for the concern. Though I knew Its going to be bad, I dint knew that it's the worst. And more over it's been some time for me that I bought from PC..And I heard that it's improved now a days.. but I had no other option and had to buy it or starve... since the train had past DMM by the time I woke up...next halt is HUP where I won't get anything and the next is the destination in about 3.5 hrs from DMM...
