No.... Its not bcoz of awarenes.... It will be booked as a last resort when date comes nearer... This special is infact a super duper crawler and one of the dirtest train ever... I travelled last summer between ERS & MAO and the coaches were stinky and pooled with water.............

Also this train arraives ERS at 21.00 hours, no connectivity available thereafter to each their homes... Bad timings chosen... It should be dep: 12.55 hours from LTT and arrvl @ ERS 15:00 hours

21:00 is not too late at all.IMHO.

It is for a special as it will run late given its low priority in KR....

Usually SR notifies the commencement of booking date through press release. This year they have not done this for this train as well as for Majn-Ahmedabad AC SPECIAL may be one reason

SR is going to operate more summer special trains according to GM, SR.

No. The statement says more summer specials going to operate. That's all.

i say an incident. one day i was travelling from ers to clt in Mrs.eranad exprs. the train halted at shoranur for more than 45 min for crossing her husband Mr.parasu. can say some people already decided to buy something for eating and drinking, and they jumped out the train while the moment it stop. 20 min gone some others get thirst and hungry esp it is hot in and out the train.they also went outside buy some dosa and vada tea etc.. again 20 min gone the remaining got boredom, children become kaaa kaaa pee pee mummaa pappa... they also got down buy some snacks, lays, colas etc . thus all of them bought some thing some thing.. at last her hubby came. both make horn eachother. she forcefully eject some air from her engine to show her angry towards mr. parasu for a long waiting

very sad sir. i think this type of long wait should be avoided.. we dono exact reason for delay. when IR says delays that means delay only. no one can question them.

1. Weekly Specials between CST and Lucknow(24)
2. Weekly Specials between CST and Gorakhpur(26)
3. Fortnightly Specials between LTT and Darbhanga(12)
4. Fortnightly Specials between LTT and Patna(12)
5. Weekly Specials between CST and Ernakulam (20)...

As and when SR notifies thro PR, which has not yet happened.

Hopefully within a couple of days...
