The cement pavement seen at the bottom gave me the hint along with the spy information that Tejas is roaming around BYPL doing RF now a days :P

From the long back i was in a thought that train fm SBC to NDLS has to go via DMM,SC,ET or UBL,ET. I did a little bit analysis on the assumed train via BZA.
Here i have taken 12540 YPR-Lucknow exp fm SBC to Itarsi & fm ET to NDLS 12621 Tamilnadu exp as a reference i have arrived @ the following time table for the said SF exp b/n SBC-NDLS via BZA

Karnataka Express ET twins MAD MAD Smoke eruption and chugging at BYPL.After clearing 15kmph CSDR speed restriction Itarsi (ET) twins #18769 and #16783 WDM-3A started smoking as hard as possible pulling heavy load Karnataka express rakes. You can see the mad eruption thrice and the last one almost like exploding.

Few points why KK is hauled by twin locos...
1.The most common reason is the need for additional motive power when a single locomotive is unable to haul the train due to uphill grades, excessive train weight, or a combination of the two.
2.Double-heading is also used on passenger trains when one locomotive could suffice but would not be fast enough to maintain the schedule.
3.More rarely, double-heading is used to guarantee a service when they have been aware of the poor quality of their locomotives, on the understanding that if one engine failed in service, the other would suffice to get the train to its destination.

Normally, all the locos are capable of hauling the train having more than 21 coaches but for maintaining the break pressure, two locos are required. This is being done away with new WDP/WAP locos which can haul upto 24 coaches with single engine since it is having superior breaking power.
Atleast one ndls-sbc-ndls daily sf via ngp, bza is required with 2 hrs gap of TN sf time.

On a sunny afternoon decided to RF at BYPL ramp along with Amit Singh and Tejas.. The location is awesome as you can capture train crawling into SBC from Yelahanka side , Descending gracefully from HSRA side and ripping from KJM. Karnataka Exp was running to time and saw the identical twins crossing over into the main line. As soon as more than half of the 24 coacher crossed into the ET twins started to smoke heavily and picking up speed. As the twins approached BYPL station they smoked once again covering the Light running KJM WDM3A waiting for starter in smoke. Watch in HD...Great action by ET twins with heavily smoking which would have touched neighbouring RMZ infinity too:)

Excellent video. But there was too much light. I think you should have asked THE SUN to take it a little easy while you were shooting. Take care next time :)
