This train takes a long route compared to 12650 - a difference of more than 400 kms. Instead it could take a route of YPR-UBL-SUR-DD-MMR-BPL-JHS. This route has many advantages. First of all SK trains are meant to benefit that state- will benefit ppl of Bijapur , Bagalkot , Gadag. Secondly the distance wll reduce by nearly 90 kms. Sbc- Ubl(470) , UBL - SUR ( 358) , Sur- Nzm (1703) , Total = 2531. Can this change be adopted? Your views?
But i think now it benefits people in UBL-MRJ-PUNE route if it is diverted they won't be happy with that na ?

frequency is to be increased and to be extended one day to amritsar and one day to jammutawi. to connect the both religious places to yashwantpur.
Recently frequency was increased from Two days to 4 days a week and 2 days will run till CDG...

20053 one of my favourite WDP-4s!!
Although WDP4s are my fav too,anything special about 20053 ? :)
Nothing special as such but have spotted the same loco 3-4 times at Pune with various trains like Udyan, CBE-LTT, Koyna, etc. Also many railfans claim to have spotted this one so this loco loves railfans too!
I think even i sighted 20053 recently....Its true that it has become a favourite one for RF's:)
