Konkan Kanya Express/10111

TRIP REPORT (PART 2) ROHA-RATNAGIRI:
The train left Roha at 02:15. The train was maintaining good speed. I was expecting it to halt at Kolad for 10112 Konkan Kanya Express. The train slowed down before approaching Kolad but the train was sent on the main line and was surprised to see 10112 already waiting for us at Kolad. The train crossed 10112 at pretty moderate speed. Crossed Kolad at 02:29. The train again gained speed and went cruising I was looking for Indapur station but couldn't see that station. Then the train slowed approaching Mangaon station arrived at 02:44 on PF#1. 11004 was waiting for us on PF#2. the time the train left Veer it was 03:20.The train again stopped at Karanjadi to allow 12741 to cross it was hauled by WDM 3.Then we left Karanjadi at 03:50.Then I was fast asleep but my eyes opened when the train was departing Khed at 04:25. Now, our train was running late by 45 minutes courtesy of 12620, 12741 which had stopped my train for crossing. Then, train reached Chiplun at 04:53 and departed in two minutes at 04:55. The train reached Sangmeshwar at 05:23 there I could see a goods train waiting for us on the main line. Train departed SGR 05:25. Then I was fast asleep when I opened my eyes our train was nearing Bhoke at that time it was 06:13.No trains on loop line which meant that 12997 crossed us at Ukshi. This time also my train must have stopped to give way to this train. Now, the train was nearing Ratnagiri and I could see the rakes of 50104 RN-Dadar Passenger which were being bought to the platform. The train arrived RN at 06:24. 50104 was hauled by WDM2. The loco which had bought the train to the platform was detached. It went ahead changed its direction came back on the loop line and my train was given a go Green. The train left Ratnagiri at 06:35. Till Mangaon it was late only by 7 minutes and now it was late by 1hour 5 mins.

TRIP REPORT (PART 3) RATNAGIRI-SAWANTWADI RD:
The train left Ratnagiri at 06:35. The train was moving at a very good speed between Ratnagiri and Nivsar. The highest speed observed was 96km/hr between these two stations at 06:47 my train crossed Nivsar at a very good speed. Now the train was making its way to Adavali not a scheduled halt there but we were sent to the loop line and I understood that Mangala Express will be crossing us here.The train arrived Adavali at 07:03. Then angry Mangala Express hauled by ERS WDM-3A crossed our train at almost 90km/hr.Then 2 minutes later our train left Adavali at 07:13 am after an unscheduled halt of 10 minutes. Adavali it was maintaining a very good speed. The highest speed observed was 105 km/hr. The train arrived Vilavde at 07:29 and left at 07:31. Now the next halt was Rajapur Road again the train was maintaining a great speed, highest speed was 103 km/hr. Now, a thought had struck my mind if our train would not stop for 4 crossings between Veer and Ratnagiri the train would have easily made it to Ratnagiri bang on time. Now, the train slowled down on its arrival at Rajapur. It arrived Rajapur at 07:45 and left at 07:47, by now our train was running late by 1hr. 13min. Now, the next halt was Vaibhavwadi Rd. the train also maintained a good speed here and we reached Vaibhavwadi at 08:03 am without wasting any time the train left at 08:05 am. Now, I was expecting the train to make it to Sawantwadi by 09:15, but the train was moving like a tortoise very slowly between Vaibhavwadi and Nandgaon Rd. In between it maintained good speeds but only for few minutes. But, soon got the reason why it was moving at a very slow speed. At Nandgaon we were sent on the loop line, I guessed the train would be 16346 Netravati Express but surprised to see that both trains entered the station at the same. As, a result both trains had to halt for 2 minutes at Nandgaon. Train departed Nandgaon at 08:25. Now, making our way towards Kankavali here the train was also maintaining a very good speed. Highest speed was 106km/hr. The train arrived KKW at 08:38 just in 13 minutes. Expecting it to leave in 2 minutes but was proved wrong, we had to wait for another crossing that too it was RO-RO without any trucks loaded on it. Then departed KKW at 08:55am after stopping for 17 minutes. Now, next up was Sindhudurg or Oras called by local people.Again, the train arrived Sindhudurg at 09:08 and left at 09:10.Now the next halt was Kudal the train was moving slowly and reached Kudal at 09:20and left at 09:22. 50106 was waiting at PF#1 so our train halted at PF#2.Now are next stop was SWV, crossed Zarap at a very good speed and arrived Sawantwadi at 09:37am. Highest speed between Kudal and Sawantwadi was 108km/hr and now my journey by rail was over. Till SWV the train was running late by 1hr 15min.The average speed between Dadar and Sawantwadi was 49 km/hr covered the distance in 10hr 12min.

once i was going to travel in 11003 Rajya Rani, i went to dadar station, my train had nt arrived, i heard an announcement dat 10104Up MAO-CSTM Mandovi Exp. wud arrive soon, it arrived at dadar at 22:30 running almost 1 n half hour late..... since it has rsa wid konkan kanya, naturally kk ws also running late dat day, as soon as mandovi aarived, passengers of gen coaches of kk rushed 2wards da train n occupied da seats, dey knew da rsa between kk n mandovi n dat mandovi wud go to CSTM n again return back as 10111Dn CSTM-MAO Konkan Kanya..... as people rushed in 2 da train, railway athorities had to 2 put off all lights of gen coaches n da coaches wer locked, announcement was made dat dis train wud b going 2 da yard so dat people wud get down, finally da train departed after...
