Scope for introducing a daily to TPJ/MDU/CBE where's there year-round demand. TPJ in particular deserves a second connection and has facilities to support maintenance (It's got 2 pit lines;a daily train to SBC will require only 2 days per week). Would appreciate feedback on this.

Maybe its due to line constraint @SBC........I think a new ONT train can be started from Baiyyappanahalli to Trichy
SBC has few trains after 22.00 hrs, I think they would accommodate if SR takes care of maintenance. Baiyyappanahalli will likely not be used for trains via Hosur I suppose (16527 and 16573 weren't shifted).
SR has introduced just 2 regular trains over the last 5 years: 16101, 22657.

TPJ/SA/MDU/PGT divisions have not seen any infrastructural development either in this period.

Another train to RMM is impossible as already meenakshi is doing a great job if increasing frequency will boost the people also first train to run daily in VM-KPD line.....
Agree with you selva,gud news is VM-KPD will haul electric loco from april.......
great..if electric loco is used then surely speed will increase in this section & im sure travelling time of meenakshi will be around 15.30 hrs with an avg speed of 52km/hr...
yes selva once electric loco hauls meenakshi exp timings could be reduced......

Admins pls delete the train No 16538 bcos when i typed Nagercoil-banglore express it is showing weekly expess............. so admins pls delete it..........
K sir but atleast hide it...When i type in google abt sbc-ncj express it shows this train....If unknown people search for trains they will be confused na.....
