Some snaps from my travel in Deccan Queen.
The most important point that needs to be highlighted 1st is that after getting LHB rakes the only food items available in the Dining Car are Veg Cutlets and Omelette only/.
While talking to the staff they told me that it is only possible to make these two items in the LHB induction furnace as they are no longer allowed to carry LPG Cylinders in LHB. Even the electric furnace is not reliable as the power fluctuates sometimes. If this is the case...

no, food was loaded from the stations even during ICF times
no extra charges for dining car,
seats are given on first come first basis
but one has to immediately vacate their seats after finishing the food,

Thats disappointing .. even then I will use any opportunity to trVel by DQ whenever I visit Mumbai
