Why this train does not stop in Tumkur? There are many educational institutions around Tumkur including many nursing colleges. These politicians run nursing colleges but none care for the welfare of the students commuting facilities? Look at the time table, After Hubli it stops in every 30 / 40 kms (?) but after Arasikere why only Yeshwanthpur? any particu;ar reasons?

There is a speed caution board(20km/hr not premanent) placed at a curve ( tripunitura station )near ernakulam junction for about 3 years.before that trains were allowed at mps.

Not a super performing train from UBL.
Saving grace is that it fills a bit well from YPR.
People from Kerala are not living in huge numbers in North Karnataka.. The number increases if you consider Bangalore or Mysore..and also this being a weekly train, people travelling to Bangalore from UBL may prefer other daily trains over it.. Hence the occupancy is less

Illa maga....i trvld on this train from kcvl to ubl n many students trvl from ers to ubl....they prefer this train alot n wanted it to run bi-weekly

apart from this...i hv seen ppl using this train alot btwn ubl-ers,ypr-ers n ypr-ktym.... even though tkts to kcvl quota r booked (max get down at ers or ktym)it almost runs empty to kcvl frm ktym....

After Stopping of 01493/94 BJP - UBL Exp by CR, There are chances from SWR to extend this train to BJP and start it from there as the timings will be matching to old stopped train
This is not a train, it is a thunder or lightining fast !!!!! Awsome speed. Once i travelled from Bengarpet to Palakkad. Bengarpet it reached at 18:20, but i reached Palakkad exact time 23:25(5 min. early) i.e 5hrs . . . BoooMMMM....
