It was me who updated the coach composition. I travelled on this train on January 2013..

Ok thanks.. but in Seat Availability its showing same coach compo.. only 1 reserved coach. .
And sir y this train named Ordinary.. pls tel..

This train is a White Elephant in off season.. ther is no need to increase the Resrved coaches..

Ordinary and unreserved are visible for many trains,, guess auto updated by system

wil visit BJP station and chk myself..

Just now came back frm BJP station..
i asked the on board TTE about reservation coaches..
he said its just like befre..
So Kindly change the coach composition
Only D1, D2, D3 are reserved for this train
and for return train 11424 only D1 is reserved............
Kindly Roll Back the Coach composition Arkya Sir!!

he said the coach composition is as before..
which is only 1 reserved coach while returning and 3 reserved coaches fr 11423

Yes i heard on a news channel that the train will be extended.

y dont they extend it to gulbarga on 1 side and upto VSG n other hand and reroute via HPT,GTL,RC/same route to get patronage

If this happen then it would be a great plan. And via solapur if its extended till pune,then it would be a great hit.

Extension to Pune from SUR. That will be a very long route.

Internal source, yet to announce for extension in coming budget.
Initial bid was to make it as night train instead of day and extend up to MAQ Mangalore Central, but now it seems to be a day train only and may get extend to VSG Vasco by July 2013

If extended to PUNE then may not extend to VSG as VSG - PUNE via UBL, GDG, SUR will be long route, currently bid is to make it as SUR - VSG SF Intercity twice in a week.

You are right, on TV9 kannada news, it has been said on day before yesterday news that solapur - hubli express will be extended to vasco in next budget

Return route VSG - UBL - SUR Intercity may follow 17315 timings till hubli, twice in a week.

So a daily train will run thrice a week when extended to VSG!!! Else they need to add one more rake!!

I think they have extra rake, because initially when started this train was having 14 bogies compared to 9 now, anyhow they got 5 bogies remaining 4 they will manage to get.

Yes its true. Vsg via sur,ubl would be a long route. But instead of biweekly ice,a biweekly overnight exp can also work b/w pune and vsg like
pune dep 2100hr
sur 0115 hr
and vsg around in afternoon. It can also work as a morning connectivity b/w gadag,ubl to vsg.

if extended till VSg,then it should run with two rakes i guess.....

I guess they will run this train with an extra rake for SUR - VSG ICE bi-weekly

It is also possible, because there are bids to run a weekly special between SUR - MAQ Night Express, SUR dep 17:30, BJP, BGK, GDG, UBL 00:10 Dep, DWR, LWR, LD, MAO 06:10 dep, KAWR, MRDW, UD, MAJN, MAQ 12:00 Arr
