Surprise fog encounter in Manmad Daund section!!
A surprise fog encountered by me onboard 12148 Hazrat Nizamuddin Kolhapur Superfast express when train was nearing Daund Junction, the fog is rare in this region, and it was only on 7th November 2015 i.e when i was onboard, watch how the train proceeds under caution with a great honking show, as it crosses over a century old river bridge and arrives Daund Junction. The video in first part is after crossing Kashti, CR, Solapur Division.

I experienced Great Run by 12148 NZM KOP Superfast Express today on PUNE-KOP section. It covered the distance of 327 kms in 5 hrs 42 minutes. It was running late and arrived PUNE around 9:55 hrs and departed at 10:23 hrs. After that it picked up and reached KOP at 16:05 hrs. This was my fastest journey ever in my life on this section. Our work horse was PUNE WDM3A 14565R.

It is very Nice to Have a stormy Ride + Have a strong mighty Honking of a Diesel loco :) I always wish to have a Fast ride like yours! :)

I travelled by this train on 18/9/15 and 22/9/15 in both directions. On both days locos were different. Hence I understood that this was old pic. Yesterday 12782 Swarn Jayanti crossed us at Koregaon with very nice and smart looking WDG-4. your pic is nice.
I traveled by 12147 KOP NZM Exp on 22nd April 2014 between KOP & PUNE. I reserved seat in Sleeper Class. My seat/berth No. was 47. Our leader was orange-yellow livery PUNE WDM-3D 11175. The train departed KOP at 9:06 hrs. within few minutes our WDM-3D started accelerating. It pulled the train fast till the bridge on the river Panchganga. We crossed this bridge at slow speed due to Permanent Speed Restriction. After crossing the river we again attempted gaining speed, but few minutes later started running slowly because the Distant Signal of Rukadi was showing Double-Yellow Aspect. Our train was detained on the Main Line of Rukadi because a train was On-line in the next block section. This was our first crossing and first technical halt.
