At last WCR completed the new line survey of JBP-Damoh-Panna new line and WCR already sent the survey report to Rail board for approval and now RB officls trying to figure out how much money will be needed to complete the new line JBP-Damoh-Panna so hopefully soon after the fund allocation will be done ground work will start and now Jbp-Damoh travel takes 3+ hrs via KTE-Sagar so if the new line will be built directly to Damoh from JBP it will be taken only one hour to reach...

IR should have completed the survey of this section long back, as with the combination of JBP DMO new line and JBP BTC gauge conversion JHS BPQ route via JBP will become as short as via ET

So poor patronisation is definitely not the reason for its demise, maintainence works is. They should've declared it beforehand only.

Purane news articles me hai.. Jabalpur ke kisi news me padha tha. Kareeb 3-4 month se jyada ho gaye.
Yes but no official declaration as of now . Aur wo rewa nai satna hai jiski thodi probability hai ets banane ki. Baki jis tarike se stage by stage elctrification ho raha hai jbp me to banana hi padega. May be usi diesel trip shed ko convert kar diay jaye ets me
Why? loco change can be done at kmz na . Why to waste diesel and cause pollution
