High time that this train is extended end to end upto SCL so that they atleast get a daily direct Kolkata connection.AGTL should get a new Tri weekly Kolkata bound service now as its been quite a long time the capital got connected with BG network.Lot of less important stoppages has to be done away with now.

Why so much Loco "Nautanki" is done by ER and NFR for this train ? Two times loco change and that too within a span of mere 340 km journey ? E Loco till RPH still makes sense , but what about Malda Town Diesel to Diesel Loco change over ?
Most probably, they are using this train to move locos to MLDT shed. Since there are very few originating trains from MLDT, instead of running locos light, they are using this train to get the locos to MLDT shed. A few other trains too have similar e-loco to e-loco and d-loco to d-loco changes en-route to move locos to their home sheds.
Loco sharing arrangement is there at MLDT. Not zonal constraint, but BWN DLS is not sending a new diesel locomotive to SDAH per day; so as the loco goes with 15657, it returns with Gour exp/15658 (need to confirm as it is backdate info).
