Now no more Hatia-Rajendra Nagar Super Express...Its only Hatia-Patna Super Express..."Koshi Express" is nowhere written in the train..
but running with ECR zone train no.!
mujhe toh kuch samajh mein nahi aata hai ki is train ka kya locha hai..Naa toh kahin ECR likha hai naahi Koshi Express...Bas SER aur Hatia-Patna-Saharsa Super Express likha rehta hai...Hatia se Patna Jn aati hai,loco electric se diesel mein change hota hai aur Saharsa ke liye nikal jaati hai..Saharsa mein raat bhar PF 02 par rehti hai aur subah 05:10 mein phir khul jaati hai Patna ke liye...Patna se phir Hatia ko jaati hai after change in loco from diesel to electric...
But its a very puntual train...Plenty of times,it had overtook Varanasi-Sealdah Upper India Exp and other pass trains and gets good clearance throughout the journey.
The rake was extended as new intercity train for SHC by then MR LaluP.
That's how a direct day train for Ranchi available for Kosi area but never used by those who come from SPJ side due to running of this train via Bypass and unavailability of connecting train.
