Firstly i dont think it was wise to operate DD as a Premium if IR wanted to operate DD as a Premium then the number of specials announced earlier should have been less (Already 90 reserved & unreserved specials were announced long back) in this supply vs demand thing supply seems to have been exceeded a bit to make DD Full, AC Premium could anyways be operated with Shatabdi Rake
But still 22 n 24 are not exactly the very heavy rush days and both DD/Shatabdi hopefully will pick up from 26/27th onwards...

The supply hasnt exceeded , you see the waiting lists on other trains hasnt gone down
The decision of running those 3 trains as normal special would have definitely reduced the rates
for the Premium shatabdi , where people play like 600 for a ticket in a normal shatabdi , have to pay now 2500ish

What i said was number of specials announced earlier should have been less by a bit in order to make the DD Premium work, Without the Premium tag DD would definitely have got full...
With such fares , i dont think the premiums would have got response , had they been announced before the specials were announced
